    Our client is looking to fill the role of a Travel consultant with great passion for travelling. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and booking travelling arrangements for clients (corporate and individual).This will be to enhance clients satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

    Job description

    • Conduct research on various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions,reviews etc.
    • Analyse the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
    • Arrange travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
    • Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
    • Create and update electronic records of clients
    • Maintain relationships with key persons

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, install and configure Database Management Systems (DBMS) that hold silos of large data.
    • Manage the database to ensure it provides efficient, effective access to information (data) stored in the database
    • Develop and implement database administration policies, technical standards and data models
    • Consult managers in the organisation to determine and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, and data access rules
    • Develop and administer policies and procedures for accessing and using networks, backing up data and recovering lost data.
    • Maintain, validate, visualize and categorize the database and the end product of designed databases to ensure usability and viability to end users.
