Responsibilities

• Drive research and design analyses to evaluate strategic opportunities and deliver macro-economic assumptions for yearly budget.
• Ensure agreed strategic deliverables are tied into the yearly budget.
• Conceptualise and develop financial models and analyses to support the strategic initiatives and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare company-wide budget and forecast with detailed assumptions and drivers.
• Prepare long term financial plan in line with the business strategic map and initiatives.
• Analysis variances of budget expectations against actual and provide remedial plan to achieve KPIs.
• Produce decision statements on build or buy, adding or deleting a product, breakeven analysis, product profitability etc.
• Provide analytical report on projects in areas of appraisal, evaluation and valuation.
• Develop an alarm system to track and monitor the business financial and non-financial KPIs.
• Determine and review the unitary cost of existing and new product streams using the best fit cost methodology (Marginal, Full absorption, Activity-Based Costing etc.).
• Prepare monthly Shareholders’ reports - Business dashboard, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Work closely with finance leadership on any ad-hoc analysis required for management and shareholders.
• Insurance administration – Procure insurance for new risks, prepare schedules for existing insurance cover renewals, etc.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• A degree in Accounting/Finance
• At least 5 years’ experience with at least 2 years performing financial modelling and analysis.
• Must possess demonstrated proficiency in spread sheet applications.
• Strong quantitative & analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Research & writing skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software will be an advantage.

Demand on the Job

Job Description

Responsibilities
The specific responsibilities shall include to:

• You will work with diverse technologies on a team of highly skilled System Engineers responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the deployment, sustainability, performance, tuning, security and day-to-day operations of our cloud network and security infrastructure.
• You will build tools and automation to eliminate manual operations and craft repeatable processes, thereby maintaining a highly available infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for performing changes to maintain the reliability of the network as it grows. This is a mix of engineering and operations role with strong customer focus for a global, world-class IaaS provider operating 24x7x365.
• Comply with support processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and service level objectives (SLO) are met.
• Provide level 2 technical support for cloud customer complaints.
• Identify, recommend and implement potential improvements to service efficiency.
• Ensure quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all services provisioned.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Management or related engineering field is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as Network and Security Administration/Engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Virtualization and Cloud Technology.
• CCNP Certification is required, Microsoft and AWS certification will be an added advantage.

• The General Manager, Cloud Services will have overall technical and business responsibility for Cloud and Managed Services
• He or she will have responsibility for the development and ownership of the portfolio of services in these areas, to achieve revenue growth and profitability objectives
• He or she will also work directly with customers, vendors and the technical teams to ensure that these targets are met.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Develop a long term vision for cloud services and managed services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to lead the development and management of new of Cloud and Managed services.
• Formulate strategies for delivering on the overall Cloud business objectives.
• Work with senior decision makers at a range of major clients, articulating the benefits of Managed Services.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Cloud based solutions/services and customers' business issues to drive innovation in these areas.
• Ensure that it is suitably positioned, with appropriate skills, resources, and process to deliver a range of cloud services.
• Manage Cloud services revenue and business goals, manage the P & L and drive actions to rapidly accelerate growth and ensure profitability.
• Ensure the positioning of the company’s Cloud Infrastructure services to align with clients’ business needs.
• Gather technical, financial, market and other relevant information to create compelling products and services for the customer base, in line with company product roadmap.
• As required, share information with marketing leadership regarding business issues and industry information that could aid development of market-specific action plans and sales strategies.
• Support Marketing Team to develop and drive marketing campaigns and lead generation activities to maximize revenue contribution of the Cloud business to the company.
• Ensure a high level of post-sales satisfaction and facilitation of long term relationships and strong potential for repeat business.
• Prioritize activities according to revenue generation and corporate strategy to enable increased profitability.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in technology roles, with at least eight (8) years’ experience in Product management, technical product development or Operations management.

Demand on the Job:

• Familiarity with Public & Private Clouds, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS including AWS, Azure and managed services; Azure or AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience.
• Proven technical experience in the field of cloud services; hands on experience in creating and deploying complex cloud infrastructure solutions in small and large environments.
• Evidence of successful product launch and full lifecycle management.
• Evidence of total ownership of a product, supporting the supply chain in the company – engineering, operations, and profit and loss as a product owner.
