Background:
The overall strategic aim of the Business Assurance Analyst is to have an oversight on business risks and ensure that there are adequate controls embedded in the Company’s processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviewing all business processes to ensure that they are complying with both the company and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in providing structured and creative analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities through data analysis, process evaluation and/or by engaging with key stakeholders to identify process gaps.
• Performing scheduled periodic audit and spot checks of all departments in the organisation and subsequent documentation of audit findings in a detailed audit report.
• Prompt follow-up of open audit issues to ensure timely closure through.
• Reviewing daily expense requisitions organization wide; while liaising with line managers to ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
• Active monitoring of the organization’s insurance portfolio.
• Review and evaluate control procedures and supporting documentation to ensure that they provide an effective control system to identify any weaknesses.
• Maintain knowledge of new developments and processes within the Healthcare industry to provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on interpretation and implementation of financial requirements and business codes of practice.
• Assist in Credit Control drive in the organization.
• Assist and support company environment with identification, assessment and monitoring of business risks and regulatory compliances issues.
• Proffering of operational improvements recommendations
• Identify, record and monitor all risks and breaches on various contract, make recommendations for mitigation & rectification, develop improvement plans when required
• Support the team in tracking and monitoring activity and alignment to contractual requirements

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years proven experience in internal audit, internal control and risk management.
• Professional certification in Finance, Internal Audit or Risk Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience in a projectized environment.
• Good drive and resilience, job ownership, thoroughness in carrying out assigned tasks and good probing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of persons including those in Executive and Managerial positions.
• Assertive, methodical and analytical with good listening skills.

Job Purpose

To ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of all Medical I.T./ I.T systems so that end users can accomplish business tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• The quality delivery of all service (contracted and otherwise) within JNCI, ensuring the delivery of customer satisfaction targets.
• Implementation of PACS/RIS and other Hospital IT Related Solutions for JNCI Customers to seek profitability.
• Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements
• Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualised environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools
• Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
• Work within strict time frames and elevate incidents within defined timeframes
• Test all changes to networks, hardware, software, and hosted applications
• Cater to doing infrastructure coordination related to design and setup activities at different stages of a project
• Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports
• Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.
• Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
• Escalate and Pursue resolution of persistent issues or service failures through the BDM Hospital IT.

Education:

Degree in a related IT discipline with 3-5 years relevant IT experience, preferably within the health sector.

Relationship:

• Build trust and establish authentic relationships through own behaviours and actions, to enhance the relationship between I.T. and the organization.
• Acts as an effective JNCI IT spokesperson in dealing with external stakeholders (IT associations, 3rd Party Suppliers)

Innovation:

• Identify ways by which IT can add value to JNCI and its customers by provision of expertise on issues currently outside the contracted scope.
• Work with the Business Development Manager, Hospital IT to identify and define new / refine current service requirements.
• Identify and exploit any opportunities for IT to improve business efficiency and effectiveness through the delivery of projects, services and innovation.

Skills & Experience:

• Certifications in Microsoft/Cisco/ITIL an advantage.
• Experience with desktop and server operating systems i.e. Windows and Cisco Network Environment.
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
• Solid technical background in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks,
• hardware, software and telecommunications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and SQL Server
• Good knowledge of security as it relates to cloud based infrastructure
• Ability to identify incident trends in order to elevate incidents in accordance with standard protocols
• Able to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
•  Strong virtualization experience using Hyper-V, VM Ware and Citrix Xen App.
• Experience working with NetApp, SAN storages.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors
• Broad knowledge of technical, developmental, application, business and current trends in IT.
• Highly mature with strong interpersonal skills
