    Digital Marketing Executive

    Purpose of the Job:

    The Digital Marketing Executive for SPAR Nigeria will be responsible for planning, execution and measuring all digital marketing strategy for the retail stores under SPAR brand and the shopping malls utilizing such techniques in the digital field as Website, Web Analytics, SEO, SEM, Online Banner Ad, Social Media, e-mail marketing and among others. The person will be responsible for putting together various online campaign in line with overall brand campaigns to deliver superior online engagement with the target audience and build brand loyalty.

    Job Description:

    • Plan, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns in line with over brand marketing campaign and promotions
    • Manage and maintain company's website to deliver superior user experience
    • Develop specific landing pages for various promotional & brand marketing campaigns
    • Continually work on the search engine optimization of the website (s) keyword, image optimization etc
    • Competitor analysis, keyword analytics, tag implementation, keyword promotion and content preparation
    • Track and analyze website traffic and provide regular internal reports
    • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
    • Analyzing web traffic to company website and providing monthly reports
    • Plan, execute, track and report all social media activities for the company
    • Develop and execute content strategy for digital marketing including content writing
    • Finding and engaging with social media influencers
    • Plan and execute online ad campaigns using Google AdWords, Google AdMob, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, YouTube Ads, Programmatic Advertising and other affiliate network marketing techniques
    • Manage Online reputation of the brands
    • Plan and execute e-mail marketing campaigns along with writing copy for e-newsletters
    • Liasing with graphic design team to create visually effective digital content for social media posts, website and online advertisement
    • Lead digital marketing team
    • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies abd ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Knowledge and understanding of WordPress and other web content management tools
    • Knowledge of writing HTML codes and testing them
    • Sound working knowledge of SEO - both on page and off page
    • Passion for metrics and qualitative analysis and ability to turn analysis into actionable programs. Working knowledge of Google Analytics
    • A specialist who is well versed with digital and social media tools and techniques and also someone who can apply marketing thought on these tools to maximize their ROI. Must be experienced working with SMM tools
    • Sound working knowledge of  Online advertising platform like Google adwords, Google Adwords certification and experience of AdMob will be added advantage
    • Sound knowledge and experience on email campaign preferably with email marketing tools like Hubspot
    • Should be fluent with written and spoken english. Superior verbal written communications skills with extreme attention to detail
    • Must possess higher levels of creativity
    • Basic knowledge of graphic Design/Image Editing
    • Experience on ATL / BTL marketing activities in addition to the digital marketing will be considered as added advantage
    • Self starter with a go getter attitude
    • Strong understanding of current and emerging social media channels

    Educational Qualification & Certifications:

    1. Masters' degree in Marketing. Bachelors' degree with relevant experience will also be considered
    2. Certification on Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Social Media advertising will be an added advantage

    Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria.

    Experience: 4-5 years of similar environment experience in digital marketing preferably with exposure to manage a significant marketing budgets on digital platforms. Experience in Retail Digital Space will be an added advantage.
