    School Head/ Team Leader

     Reference: KMC/001

    Qualification: Second degree is preferable (but excellent first degree holders may apply)

    Experience Required: 15 years teaching experience (two of which must be in a management position)

    Administrative Manager

     Reference: KMC/FR/002

    Qualification: First degree with educational qualification

    Experience Required: 5 years

    Candidate Requirements

    • Minimum of a Degree ( in education or a related field)
    • Experience of clerical and administrative work
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Basic knowledge of first aid
    • Ability to use standard office software
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to the appropriate person
    • Not less than 5years work experience

    Responsibilities

    • Providing general clerical/administrative support including photocopying and filing
    • Undertaking reception duties including answering telephone and responding to queries and enquiries and dealing with visitors where appropriate on behalf of the School Head
    • Taking notes at ad-hoc meetings as required
    • Providing administrative support for examinations and attendance including data inputting
    • Undertaking general financial administration
    • Updating/maintaining manual/computerized record/management information systems, including system maintenance/back up files and provision of reports
    • Ordering supplies and equipment/maintaining stock andclassroom resources and arranging for repairs where necessary
    • Assisting in the clerical arrangements for trips/school eventsand taking full charge of the transport system
    • Responsible for pursuing students’ absence with parents,including recording/ monitoring of absence and production of reports
    • First point of contact regarding any form of absence, worker or student
    • Responsible for students’ admissions – recording data /class lists/time tables/management information and statistics returns
    • Responsible for first aid and the welfare of students including direct contact with parents/guardians

    Subject Teachers

    Qualification: First degree with educational qualification

    Experience Required: 2 years

    Responsibilities

    • Plan unit and curricula based on content knowledge, understanding of students, and goals of the curriculum as directed by school leadership.
    • Ensure that all aspects of planning and preparation, including learning outcomes, learning activities, materials, resources and assessments are in alignment with the philosophy fundamental concepts and pedagogical approaches of the examinations taken.
    • Create a dynamic and positive classroom environment that facilitates learning through respectful and cultural-sensitive personal interactions.
    • Monitor attendance and progress of students to ensure that they participate in class and complete coursework requirements.
    • Design and implement an assessment system to monitor students' mastery of course concepts.
    • Encourage organization, responsibility, cooperation, teamwork, honesty, creativity and tolerance among students.
    • Provide or seek extra help for students with special needs or who require additional learning support.
    • Review student progress, and in the case of educational or behavioural challenges, communicate as appropriate to the school leadership.
    • Provide feedback to the school leadership on students’progress at designated intervals and events.
    • Collaborate with other teachers and staff.
    • Pursue professional development activities to continue to build subject matter knowledge and best teaching practices.
    • Actively contribute to the co-curricular programme of the School
    • Serve as a mentor to assigned students.
    • Other assigned responsibilities.
