    Solution Architect , Collaboration Solutions

     

    Job description

    Responsible for assigned presales activities from conceptualization, demo, site surveys/assessment, architecting/design, response to bids, bid defence to deal closure around Infrastructure Solution (IS) areas to ultimately drive sales for the division.

    •  Characterize Customers requirement & Expectations
    • Prepares and packages assigned proposals/response to bids after proper vetting and supervision.
    • Provides assigned defence/clarification of such bids/proposals as stated above with ultimate goal of generating job orders based on such.
    • Customer Product knowledge  briefing/presentations/clarifications
    • Ensures and Maintains regular OEM pricing Database for Components/materials, pricing updates and documentation for commercial bid / quotations preparation.
    • Carries out Site Survey/assessments, Pre-bid meetings attendance and Customer interfacing with aim of Characterizing requirements & expectations of such Customers for all response to bids, tenders and quotations.
    • Carry out Solutions Architecting/Design and packaging- Writing Technical proposals, preparing commercial proposals, and response to bids e.t.c.
    • Ensure  deadlines or submission dates for bids/quotations/proposals are strictly complied with
    • Ensures and carries out Proper and simplified documentation of all submitted bids, proposals or quotations.
    • Carries out in-house Product knowledge briefing/presentations/clarifications as the need arises.
    • Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements and ensure business alignment
    • Provides secondary resolution support for customer SLA tickets by working with the support team as the need arises and as assigned.
    • Provides secondary implementation/installations/configurations support for project implementations by working with the professional services team as the need arises and as assigned.  
    • Adhere and comply with the division practices around PREPARE, PLAN, DESIGN stages of technology lifecycle and engagement model with the customer.
    • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in IS solution areas by taking full advantage of huge information contained in OEM websites, attending OEM development trainings, seminars and by reading professional literature in the related technical field
    • Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behaviour. 

    Desired Skills and Experience

    Skills/Knowledge

    • High level of professional skill and knowledge in solution areas and management
    • In-depth ICT Skills in Configuring Cisco Collaborations Devices like Cisco Call CallManager, Telepresence Devices, Contact Center Solutions e.t.c.
    • Policies and processes development & Implementation

    Experience and Qualifications

    • A good first degree in engineering, computer science or other related discipline.
    • A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in a similar position, preferably, professional experience should be against the background of borderless networks solution development.
    • An MBA or relevant post graduate degree/professional qualification e.g. CCNP Voice, CCNA, Prince 2 will be an added advantage.
    • In-depth knowledge of ICT business environment.

    Solution Manager – Data Security

     

    Job description

    The Solution Manager- Data Security has the overall responsibility for selling, driving and providing leadership across the Security solutions team.

    Provides Security technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstration and proof of concept.  Assists the sales team in assessing potential application of company products/ solution to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product/ solution specifications for customer requirements

    Also responsible for evaluating a business and then realizing its full potential, using such tools as marketing, sales, information management and customer service to ultimately achieve/exceed targeted sales for the entire business unit.

    The key roles are:

    • Drive, Sell, Provide and Ensure complete delivery of business aligned Security solutions by partnering with the other Solution Architects, Sales Organization and Professional Services teams.
    • Direct accountabilities and responsibilities to support Weco Security business
    • Provide Security solutions/technology /product consulting, technical and sales support for all Weco customers/ accounts.
    • Perform in-depth and high level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
    • Drive the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
    • Actively participate as a security Technical resource in Weco Security business
    • Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements and ensure business alignment.
    • Define and seek approval for pricing & products for the applicable solution areas of Infrastructure Solution Division
    • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/ prospect contact towards achieving agreed business alignment
    • Provides advanced technical sales and solution management leadership while ensuring knowledge transfer and skills development amongst entire team
    • Managing, motivating and developing the Level 1 & 2 members of the team
    • Adhere and comply with the division practices as a core around PREPARE, PLAN, DESIGN stages of technology lifecycle and engagement model while partnering with Professional Services team to deepen, harness and maximize IMPLEMENT, OPERATE and OPTIMIZE stages. To ultimately deepen our Systems Integration practice while sustaining and growing the business.
    • Creates and maintains a high performance environment characterized by positive leadership and strong team orientation
    • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by attending professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences etc. 

    Desired Skills and Experience

    Skills/Knowledge

    • In-depth Security knowledge and good understanding of cyber security trends and challenges.
    • Good knowledge in both Network security and content Security Solution.
    • Knowledge in Routing and Switching and Networking platform design is a plus.
    • Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.
    • Develop an expert understanding of various architectures and ability to perform cross-architectures selling.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • A first degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic  Engineering or related field
    • Minimum 8 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience with 6+ years in Security Specialization experience with IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, Advanced Malware Protection technologies. 

    Certifications:

    • Cisco  CCNP Security and CCDP certified
    • Minimum Checkpoint CCSP Certified
    • An MBA or relevant post graduate degree/professional qualification e.g. CCIE –Security will be an added advantage.
    • In-depth knowledge of ICT business environment.

    Receivable Officer

     

    Job description

    The Receivable Officer is responsible for maintaining the account receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all receivable transactions in the areas of invoicing, debt collection, debtors reconciliations and tax management.

    The key roles of the Receivable Officer are:

    • Maintain accurate accounts receivable systems
    • Ensure timely and accurate sales invoicing
    • Weekly & monthly reconciliation of debtors subsidiary ledgers
    • Daily and weekly debts drive/collection report
    • Consistent, accurate and weekly/monthly sales and cost of sales report
    • Proper compilation of receivable source documents and filling
    • Daily and weekly update report of un-invoiced and partially invoiced sales.
    • Handles aggressive collection of Withholding Tax Credits
    • Handles aggressive collection of VAT receipts
    • Handles collection and proper documentations of payment advice
    Desired Skills and Experience
    • A first degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or a related field
    • Membership of Accounting professional bodies would be an added advantage
    • Maximum of 5 years related work experience
