    Process Engineer

    Job Objective/ Purpose of Job:
    •To carry out all process engineering activities, from conceptual design through to commissioning, required to execute a wide variety of multi-discipline oil and gas projects involving modifications to existing flowstations and processing facilities and new build wellhead facilities and pipelines.
    •The objective is to carry out all projects safely, on time and within budget.

    Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
    •To provide a focal point for the resolution of process engineering questions from conceptual engineering through detailed design to construction and commissioning.
    •Act as Company representative for the preparation or review of Design Bases, P&IDs, PFDs, etc. Provide process engineering input to other discipline specialists to assure that design outputs are consistent.
    •To act as the Company representative (as required) to ensure that design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes, in particular, API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, etc.

    •Monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions were required to improve schedule or quality performance,
    •Participate in HAZOP’s and other key design reviews.

    Civil Engineer

    Job Objective
    To provide Civil Engineering expertise to aid in the execution of the Company’s Facilities projects, both onshore - Swamp. Candidate will provide knowledgeable input during the design execution phases of projects to assure sound engineering practice is followed by design and construction contractors, and that

    To carry out all Structural engineering activities, from conceptual design, onshore fabrication and installation, field engineering, hook up and commissioning, turnover and acceptance, start-up and development and resolution of punch lists required to execute a wide variety of multi-discipline offshore oil and gas projects involving modifications to existing offshore platforms and processing facilities and new build wellhead facilities and pipelines.     1. Work closely with other Central Assets team members to define, examine implications, and propose new facilities and/or facilities modifications to achieve project objectives
    2. Provide Structural engineering input in the review and verification of design data, reports and studies
    3. Prepare detail designs for all steel work (e.g. supports, platforms, canopies, ladders, stairways, walkways, overhead cranes rails, shelters, towers etc all stand-alone specifications and data sheets required for the requisition and purchase of all rotating equipment packages,
    4. Prepare detail design of pipe rack and pipe support details
    5. Produce and review calculations, design reports and drawings for structural support of all major equipment as required

    Pipeline Engineer

    Senior Production Seismologist

    1. Perform key seismic interpretation tasks: seismic-to-well tie, velocity model analysis, evaluate depth conversion
    methodologies and mapping.

    Senior Drilling Engineer - Drilling Optimization

    Job Description

    •     The Senior Drilling Engineer - Drilling Optimization will be located in Victoria Island, Lagos, but may be required to travel elsewhere in Nigeria, and will provide specialist technical support in the area of drilling optimization. This will involve development of project specific drilling performance recommendations and processes.
    •     Additionally the PDE will identify, assess and execute Technology Development, review of current Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Contracts, Supply Chain Management processes and Strategic Research Programs to further enhance the performance.

    Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

    •     Drilling optimization processes - to identify and develop specific projects in order to enhance/optimize drilling performance.

    •     Keep abreast of the latest general drilling and specific performance drilling technologies to identify, assess and execute Technology Development and Strategic Research Programs to further enhance the performance.

    •     Participate in the drilling and completion networks to share solutions and best practices.

    Senior Reservoir Engineer

    Job Description
    The Overall Purpose of the Job:

    •     The role will provide very strong support to field development planning through building numerical reservoir simulation using Eclipse and CMG simulators, and be part of the team responsible for identification of production improvement opportunities and production optimization studies in conjunction with the production technologist, petrophysicist and production geologist in the asset development team.
    •     The role will ensure the highest levels of competence of reservoir engineering in the asset development team to include the generation of well proposals, budget management, recruitment, retention, competency development and professional coaching and mentoring.

    Principal Accountabilities

    •     Work in an integrated study team (as a member or a study team lead) where you can learn from others and equally contribute with your own background and experience. Make RE input into field development plan. The required technical work will comprise but will not be limited to dynamic modelling, well/reservoir performance reviews, development options evaluation and economics.
    •     Directs and participates in well surveillance activities (MER, BHP etc), and reservoir definition and behavior prediction of assigned reservoir.
    •     Conducts conventional reservoir engineering and simulation studies to identify optimum recovery and field development options, adjusts reservoir development plans in response to changes in well and reservoir performance. Must have experience in well test interpretation, material balance modelling and performance modelling of vertical and horizontal wells.
    •     Recommends reservoir areas and program features for pilot studies of various oil recovery enhancement techniques (water flood, gas injection, gas lift etc). Conducts, documents and presents, field reviews, and further development proposals.
    •     Monitors production from existing fields, analyses all relevant data, and ensures that reservoirs are being properly managed, production is maximised and recoveries are optimal. To establish reservoir management strategies where they do not exist, and update them where they do.
    •     Directs and participates in defining the scope and content of reservoir studies used to assist in determining well behavior and optimum recovery methods. Includes, establishing program specifications, reviewing available resources, preparing tender documents, reviewing and evaluating bids and monitoring study team performance.
    •     Provides estimates of oil and gas resources by conducting annual reserves evaluation,
    •     classification, and booking for the assigned assets, and document the report in an appropriate format. i.e Annual Review of Petroleum Reserves (ARPR).
    •     Prepares detailed medium and long-term production forecasts for the asset budget planning cycle.
    •     Prepares production testing proposals and provides guidelines for execution. Evaluates and interprets results, recommends optimum methods of performance monitoring. Must have experience in reservoir pressure & fluid sampling, fluid property modelling, routine and special core analysis.
    •     Reviews performance of simulation programs, new software releases and other reservoir engineering related tools and applications. Liaises with RE discipline lead and IT Support staff to test and identify appropriate packages and advises team management on the purchase or leasing of new software(s).
    •     Desirable to have working knowledge of gas condensate reservoir as well as gas field development experience.
    •     Coach and mentor assigned junior reservoir engineers and other young engineers within the company as required. Ability to mature successor will form a major part of this role performance KPI.

    •     Close cooperation with drilling and production colleagues is required to enable rapid maturation of discovered hydrocarbons and monetisation of exploration discoveries.

    Senior Production Geologist

    Job Description

    •     The Senior production geologist has the role of generating integrated predictive subsurface/geological models to address/resolve subsurface production challenges in addition to harnessing subsurface opportunities.
    •     He conducts and participates in Integrated Field Development studies to meet Reserves Replacement targets and the anticipated Oil & Gas growth inthw green and brown fields utilizing appropriate technology and best practices to reduce time, costs and improve quality and standards.
    •     Interpretation of all available geological data to improve the understanding of the reservoirs/fields geology.
    •     Adequate exposure and competence in areas of geophysical/geological/reservoir studies, uncertainties management processes and hands-on ability of geological applications and software including Petrel is necessary.

    Principal Accountabilities

    •     Familiar with the fundamentals of all Petroleum Geology specialists' area (especially Seismic, Production and Reservoir Geology) and hands-on ability of geological applications and software including Petrel. Competence in a wide range of field, reservoir and uncertainties management, field development and data management activities.
    •     Apply state of the art interpretation and evaluation technology in the delivery of integrated, predictive subsurface/geological models in line with the industry best practice. Working knowledge of seismic, production and reservoir geological processes.
    •     Responsible for production geological input into all agreed studies on time, quality and cost. Develops and participates in subsurface reservoir studies aimed at constructing and/or improving geological models.
    •     Drive the Quality Well Delivery Process' (QWDP) for proposed development/appraisal wells and update databases and maps/x-sections with the results of FRs and drilled wells. Coordinates and contributes to the preparation of well proposals, well resumes and End of Well Report of development and appraisal wells
    •     Contribute to well delivery and reduction of drilling risks by providing accurate prognosis of geological information/boundaries, potential drilling hazards and advice during drilling. Delivering first class geological support to operations, drilling and workover well, etc.
    •     Ensures that new well and workover proposals have solid geological basis. Timely delivery of robust and technically excellent subsurface studies and development plans.
    •     Participate in technical meetings, make valuable contributions; write and publish asset approved technical paper/s. Coach and mentor other production geologist in the team.
    •     Participation in Peer Review, Geosciences Workshops and Assists in integrating geological study findings with other studies undertaken by the assigned team.

    Responsibilities of Managers and Supervisors

    •     The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the QHSE Management System is implemented within the operations under their control.
