    Transfer Pricing Senior

    • As a Transfer Pricing Senior Associate at Forvis Mazars, you will provide expert advice on transfer pricing matters, develop and implement transfer pricing policies, and negotiate with tax authorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Management: Proactively manage multiple clients, reporting to managers and senior leaders.
    • Leadership and Training: Train and lead staff, developing their technical and professional skills.

    • Technical Development: Enhance your technical understanding and that of your team.
    • Legislation Awareness: Stay updated on local and international transfer pricing regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: University degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or Law.
    • Professional Qualification: ICAN or ACCA certification.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant transfer pricing experience.

    Audit Manager

    About the job

    • We have an exciting Audit Manager role available at our Forvis Mazars office in Lagos Nigeria.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong / productive relationships with audit clients / management
    • Establish expectations of value/ services to be delivered for the client, managing all financial aspects of client engagements
    • Collaborate to plan engagement objectives
    • Develop and implement an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk
    • Challenge the effectiveness of the audit strategy and approach for all engagements
    • Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and industry developments
    • Conducting timely reviews and providing feedback to team members, lead engagement team sessions, participating in recruiting efforts
    • Overseeing engagement economics and managing appropriate resources for efficient engagement models
    • Cooperation in the preparation and implementation of marketing activities in own service line
    • Acquisition and active use of networking skills to maintain client relation and enhance business development activities
    • Participation in meetings with potential clients
    • Support and co-creation of Forvis Mazars company culture, cooperation while achieving group objectives
    • Preparation and presentation of internal training.
    • Achievement of expert level of technical knowledge within tax, accounting, consulting, and advisory specialisation
    • Coordinate the work of several teams within given specialisation
    • Effectively manages the assigned client portfolio
    • Adoption of principles of cross-selling within the firm

    Qualifications:

    • Education achieved: University degree and professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA)
    • Experience: Must be working or must have worked in a consulting / Audit firm with a minimum of 5 years professional experience in external audit of organizations

    Specific knowledge and skills:

    • Very high expertise within specialisation, comprehension of market, or Industry
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local GAAP
    • Socially confident with advanced communication and organizational skills
    • Knowledge in Tax, Consulting and advisory, Control measures
    • Demonstrates understanding of key concepts and principles related to process improvements, project management and change management
    • Dedication to teamwork and excellent leadership skills
    • Detailed understanding of risk-based auditing and risk control strategies
    • Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions
