    Technical Director - UPHIP

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership and support in the design, implementation and evaluation of project components, including Health Financing, RMNCAH, Malaria, and GHSA
    • Work closely with the Chief of Party to ensure technical soundness of interventions and overall program success
    • Collaborate with the M&E team to design and implement systems for tracking and evaluating the progress of project interventions, ensuring data-driven decision-making
    • Ensure high-quality healthcare interventions, particularly in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH)
    • Work closely with government counterparts, donors, and other partners to ensure effective coordination and implementation of project activities
    • Lead health systems strengthening efforts, focusing on quality improvement and service delivery
    • Ensure that all technical activities comply with donor requirements, including USAID, and contribute to the timely submission of high-quality reports
    • Represent the project and Sydani Group at key forums, advocating for project objectives and promoting best practices

    Chief of Party - UPHIP

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and direction across all project components, including Health Financing, RMNCAH, Malaria, and GHSA
    • Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with USAID objectives and national health goals
    • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality program results and ensure cross-functional collaboration

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive M&E framework for tracking project performance, including tools, methodologies, and processes aligned with donor and project requirements

    Director Finance and Operations - UPHIP

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the overall financial management of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring efficient use of resources
    • Ensure compliance with all financial and operational regulations set by donors, particularly USAID, including adherence to policies such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and AIDAR (USAID Acquisition Regulation
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to donors, ensuring transparency and accountability in the management of project funds
    • Lead the development of project budgets and monitor expenditures, ensuring alignment with project activities and compliance with donor requirements
    • Develop and implement strong internal control systems to safeguard project assets and ensure compliance with audit requirements, including the management of audits when they occur

    Grant Manager - UPHIP

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the full lifecycle of grants, from solicitation and awarding to management, reporting, and close-out, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
    • Lead the review and evaluation of grant proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with financial and regulatory guidelines
    • Ensure that all grants are compliant with donor regulations, including adherence to USAID’s Automated Directives System (ADS) and other applicable financial guidelines
    • Monitor the financial management of all grants, including budget development, expenditure tracking, and timely disbursement of funds to grantees
    • Prepare and submit detailed grant reports to donors and stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent financial and programmatic reporting
    • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with grant management, ensuring accountability and transparency in the use of funds
    • Provide training and support to grantees on financial management, reporting requirements, and compliance issues to ensure they can meet donor expectations
    • Work closely with the project’s finance team to align grant management with overall financial systems, including budgeting, audits, and financial reporting
