    Dance Instructor

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting structured dance classes tailored to different skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
    • Teaching various dance styles such as ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, salsa, ballroom, or traditional/cultural dances.
    • Demonstrating proper dance techniques, posture, coordination, and rhythm.
    • Helping students improve their flexibility, strength, and stamina.
    • Creating and choreographing dance routines for performances, competitions, or school events.
    • Coaching students on stage presence, expression, and confidence.
    • Organizing and overseeing rehearsals to ensure readiness for performances.
    • Evaluating students' performance and providing constructive feedback.
    • Identifying areas of improvement and offering personalized coaching.
    • Keeping records of attendance, progress, and achievements.
    • Encouraging discipline, respect, and dedication in dance practice.
    • Fostering teamwork and collaboration in group routines.
    • Teaching students the importance of commitment, patience, and perseverance
    • Teaching students safe stretching and warm-up technique
    • Maintaining a safe and clean dance environment.
    • Planning and coordinating dance performances, recitals, or cultural programs.
    • Preparing students for dance competitions and external showcases.
    • Collaborating with schools, arts organizations, or event coordinators for performances
    • Encouraging students to express emotions and storytelling through movement
    • Scheduling classes and managing student enrollments.
    • Maintaining dance equipment, costumes, and studio cleanliness.
    • Communicating with parents or guardians about student progress and class updates

    Creative and Cultural Art Tutor (CCA)

    Duties

    • Planning, developing and implementing curriculum to meet learning goals
    • Ensure proper execution of lesson plans daily
    • Teach students in details all the topics related to this particular subject
    • Provide extensive lesson notes for the students
    • Checking the student's notes regularly to ensure it's updated.
    • Practice with the students in class
    • Ensure the availability of learning materials and provide guidance to the students on how to use them
    • Maintain proper record of students' academic records
    • Assign assignments to students
    • Grade tests and assignments of students
    • Create a positive learning environment in order to develop the interest of the students.
    • Prepare the students for external and internal examinations and competitions.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the HOD

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting engaging lessons in various creative and cultural arts forms (e.g., visual arts, music, dance, drama, crafts).
    • Teaching fundamental techniques, history, and cultural significance of different art forms.
    • Encouraging students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic identity.
    • Designing lesson plans and structured programs that align with the curriculum.
    • Organizing exhibitions, performances, and cultural events to showcase students' work.
    • Arranging field trips, workshops, and guest lectures to enrich students' exposure.
    • valuating students’ artistic growth and creative process.
    • Keeping records of students' participation, achievements, and areas for improvement.
    • Offering guidance on refining techniques and exploring new artistic methods.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts or any other related course. A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 1 year experience in this role or a similar role
    • Possess in-depth knowledge on the core subject and skills to deliver knowledge to students
    • Good knowledge of and practical use of quality and seamless training/teaching methods
    • The candidate for this role is expected to possess great skills
    • Good communication skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to cooperate with other staff members
    • As a Teacher, you should have the ability to work with students with different interest and capabilities
    • Be patient and empathetic in your dealings with students.
    • Also be very passionate about your job.

    Home Economics Teacher

    Responsibilities

    • Designing lesson plans that cover topics such as food and nutrition, textiles, family living, consumer education, and budgeting.
    • Conducting engaging, hands-on classes that encourage practical learning.

    • Educating students on home management, personal finance, and sustainable living practices.
    • Organizing cooking, sewing, and home care workshops for practical experience.

    • Supervising students as they engage in hands-on activities to ensure safety and accuracy.
    • Evaluating students through assignments, projects, and practical demonstrations.
    • Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
    • Keeping records of student progress and participation.
    • Teaching students about food safety, kitchen hygiene, and safe handling of household appliances.
    • Enforcing safety protocols in the classroom to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Supervising students closely during practical lessons.
    • Encouraging students to develop responsibility, self-sufficiency, and decision-making skills.
    • Teaching effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving in household management
    • Planning cooking competitions, craft fairs, or sustainability projects to showcase student learning.
    • Encouraging participation in community service projects related to home economics.
    • Ensuring the proper maintenance of kitchen, sewing, and classroom equipment.
    • Keeping inventory of supplies such as ingredients, fabrics, and household tools.
    • Maintaining an organized and clean learning environment.
    • Communicating with parents about student progress and projects.
    • Working with school management to improve and update the home economics curriculum.
    • Partnering with community organizations to enhance student learning opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND with relevant work experience.
