Job Description

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant filings.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and provide recommendations for compliance.

Accounts Payable:

• Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Analysis:

• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information for tax planning and reporting.

Audits and Reviews:

• Manage tax-related audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Conduct internal reviews to identify and address potential tax and payable-related issues and risks.

Tax Planning:

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies in coordination with payable processes to optimize the company's financial position.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align tax planning and payable activities with overall business objectives.

Reporting:

• Generate accurate and timely tax and payable reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with international reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting and payable functions, preferably in a telecommunications or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
• Experience with payable processes and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Expense Reporting:

• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in the implementation of expense management best practices.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a telecommunications or related industry.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
