Key Responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture across offshore operations
• Provide HSE oversight for marine logistics, vessel operations, cargo transfers, and contractor activities
• Lead incident investigations, audits, inspections, and compliance assessments
• Support emergency response, environmental management, and safety improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, international maritime standards, and company HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational HSE, Marine Studies, or related discipline
• 8–10 years of HSE experience in Upstream Oil & Gas
• Minimum 5 years in a field-based HSE supervisory role
• Strong offshore, marine, production, drilling, or well intervention experience.

Description

• We are seeking an experienced FSO Laboratory Technician to support offshore production operations by ensuring crude oil quality, optimizing processes, ensuring environmental compliance, and upholding laboratory excellence.

Key Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in upstream Oil & Gas, FPSO/FSO, or offshore production environments
• Strong expertise in crude oil analysis, water treatment, production chemistry, and QA/QC systems
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, spectrophotometers, titrators, viscometers, density meters, and H₂S analyzers
• Knowledge of NUPRC, NOSDRA, ASTM, API, ISO standards
• Valid BOSIET/FOET and OGUK (or equivalent) certifications.

What You'll Do:

• Perform laboratory testing and quality control analysis
• Support crude export certification and cargo quality monitoring
• Monitor production chemicals and water treatment performance
