    Supply Chain Manager

    Job Description

    • The Supply Chain Manager will ensure the seamless flow of inputs and products across Pullus’ farmer and customer network.
    • This includes managing logistics, inventory, and distribution to guarantee efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
    • The role is critical to aligning production cycles with market demand, reducing wastage, and ensuring Pullus delivers at scale.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise Logistics Officers to coordinate farm pickups, processing schedules, and customer deliveries.
    • Negotiate and manage relationships with transport providers.
    • Monitor cost per kg for distribution and optimize routes
    • Supervise Inventory Officers to maintain accurate stock records.
    • Reconcile incoming (farm collections), processing outputs, and customer dispatches.
    • Ensure systems track availability in real time.
    • Work with Sales to align customer orders with available stock.
    • Coordinate with Extension/Procurement teams for timely input flow to farmers
    • Use ERP/digital dashboards to track inventory, movement, and KPIs.
    • Provide timely supply chain performance reports to management
    • Identify and mitigate risks such as delays, shortages, or breakdowns in logistics.
    • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in transportation and storage handovers.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/MBA is an advantage).
    • 7 – 10 years progressive experience in supply chain leadership, preferably in agribusiness or FMCG.
    • Proven expertise in procurement, logistics, inventory, and financial models that support supply chain operations.
    • Strong knowledge of cold chain management, distribution, and agricultural value chains.
    • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
    • Strong expertise in logistics and inventory systems (ERP/digital tools).

    Sales Officer

    Job Summary

    • As a Sales Officer at Pullus Africa, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new customers, nurturing existing client relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.
    • You will be actively involved in sales outreach, market analysis, product presentations and closing deals.
    • You will collaborate closely with the inventory and purchase teams to ensure that the company's poultry products and services meet the needs of clients in the agricultural sector, particularly smallholder farmers, commercial poultry producers and other industry stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across various sectors within the agricultural industry.

    Quality Assurance Manager

    Role Purpose

    • The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for ensuring that Pullus products meet the highest standards of safety, freshness, and regulatory compliance across offtake, slaughtering, cold storage, packaging, and logistics.
    • The role develops and enforces Quality Management Systems (QMS), trains and supervises QA staff, and ensures strict adherence to SOPs and biosecurity protocols. The QA Manager safeguards customer trust and supports Pullus’ growth through uncompromising product quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise slaughtering and offtake processes, ensuring hygiene and compliance.
    • Monitor schedules and ensure large-volume offtakes meet QA standards.
    • Train Purchase Officers and Slaughter Men on SOPs and corrective actions
    • Supervise Cold Room Staff, ensuring strict temperature compliance, hygiene, and record-keeping.
    • Monitor shelf life, packaging, and sorting to reduce waste.
    • Inspect facilities daily to maintain storage quality and food safety compliance
    • Conduct quality checks before dispatch to customers.
    • Monitor product condition during delivery and enforce logistics QA SOPs.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure dispatch efficiency aligns with QA standards.
    • Develop, implement, and update SOPs across purchase, slaughter, cold storage, and logistics.
    • Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance (NAFDAC, SON, Halal).
    • Act as HSE Monitoring Officer and maintain QA records for reporting.
    • Mentor QA Inspectors, Cold Room Staff, and Processing Hygiene Officers.
    • Build a culture of continuous quality improvement across all functions.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, or related field.
    • 7–10 years’ QA experience in FMCG, poultry, or food production.
    • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and food safety standards.
    • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional QA teams.
    • Excellent documentation, auditing, and training skills.
    • Familiarity with cold chain management strongly preferred.
