About the Role

• Ades Ventures Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Storekeeper to oversee the efficient management of inventory and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of stock while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods and materials.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement documentation.
• Conduct routine stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
• Reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.

Store Operations

• Issue materials and products only against properly authorized requisitions.
• Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles are followed where applicable.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and secure store environment.
• Properly label and arrange inventory for easy identification.
• Prevent stock losses, damages, and pilferage.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), Goods Issued Notes (GIN), Bin Cards, and other inventory documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Report stock variances promptly.
• Maintain proper filing of all inventory records.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external stock audits.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Procurement, Inventory, Production, Accounts, Sales, and Operations departments.
• Support timely fulfillment of internal material requests.

RequirementsEducation

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or a similar role.
