    Showroom Assistant

    Job Objective:

    • The Showroom Assistant will assist the Showroom Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a high-end luxury furniture showroom. The individual is responsible for creating an inviting showroom environment, hosting client meetings, and ensuring a premium customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated, and confident individual who can thrive in a dynamic and high-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to the core values of the organisation. This role will report directly to the Showroom Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sales, Marketing)
    • 2+ years of experience in retail or showroom management, ideally in the furniture or luxury goods sector
    • Excellent customer management skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage and interact with high-end clients from diverse backgrounds
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Prior experience or knowledge of the furniture industry is an added advantage
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Experience in event management and coordination
    • Knowledge of visual merchandising and showroom presentation
    • Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach

    Sales Representative

    The Sales Representative will manage daily sales operations within the luxury gift showroom. This role requires a confident, articulate, and highly presentable professional who can engage clients, provide exceptional customer service, and drive sales through product knowledge, persuasion, and negotiation skills. The position also involves stock management and ensuring the showroom maintains its premium appearance.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Engage customers in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring a memorable in-store experience
    • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
    • Persuade and negotiate effectively to close sales.
    • Maintain accurate daily records of sales and transactions.
    • Take stock, reconcile inventory, and report discrepancies promptly.
    • Ensure the gift shop is always neat, well-arranged, and visually appealing.
    • Support marketing and promotional activities as directed by management.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of OND or HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
    • 2–3 years of experience in retail, fashion, or luxury sales.
    • Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage customer relationships.

    SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

    • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in retail, fashion, or luxury goods.
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
    • Presentable, confident, and customer-focused
    • Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability
    • Self-motivated with a genuine passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
