    Shelf Attendant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Arrange, stock, and replenish shelves with merchandise in line with company standards.
    • Ensure all products are properly labeled with price tags and promotional information.
    • Monitor stock levels on shelves and inform supervisors of shortages or near-expiry items.
    • Rotate stock (First-In-First-Out, FIFO) to prevent expired or damaged products from remaining on display.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, aisles, and product displays.
    • Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information.
    • Report any damaged, missing, or misplaced products to supervisors.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and store operational policies.
    • Support in unloading deliveries and transferring products to the sales floor

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent; OND is an advantage.
    • Previous retail or store experience is an added advantage.
    • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain neatness.
    • Basic customer service and communication skills.
    • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift items during shift

    Runner

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collect and deliver items (documents, supplies, stock, equipment, or products) between departments or locations.
    • Assist in stocking, replenishing, and organizing items as directed.
    • Provide support to operational teams by responding quickly to requests.
    • Ensure that deliveries are accurate, complete, and handled with care.
    • Maintain records of deliveries and report discrepancies to supervisors.
    • Support housekeeping of work areas (keeping stockrooms, shelves, or delivery areas tidy).
    • Comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and security procedures.
    • Perform other errands or tasks as may be assigned by management.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a similar role (runner, store assistant, errand staff) is an advantage.
    • Ability to work quickly, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.
    • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift or move light-to-moderate loads.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
