    Senior Warehouse Officer

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise receiving, offloading, inspection, counting, and documentation for inbound goods.
    • Coordinate put-away/location assignment and safe storage (floor stacking and/or racking).
    • Oversee picking, staging, loading, and dispatch to meet daily schedules and SLAs.
    • Manage bay/yard flow and truck turnaround time; reduce bottlenecks and delays.
    • Lead warehouse assistants, pickers, loaders, forklift operators, and casual staff on shift.
    • Allocate tasks, set daily targets, track productivity, and coach staff for SOP compliance.
    • Support onboarding and on-the-job training for new team members.
    • Enforce PPE compliance, safe stacking, aisle discipline, and equipment checks.
    • Report incidents/near-misses; maintain housekeeping, 5S standards, and audit readiness.
    • Ensure proper handling, storage conditions, and damage prevention controls.
    • Prepare daily shift reports (inbound/outbound volumes, pending jobs, variances, damages, manpower).
    • Escalate SLA risks early and resolve operational issues impacting OTIF and accuracy
    • Supervise the loading and offloading of goods into the warehouse by the warehouse loaders.
    • Count all products, compare to waybill and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates
    • Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments on appropriate forms, and communicate any discrepancies observed during receipt or release of goods to the Warehouse Manager.
    • Record daily transactions in warehouse register.
    • File warehouse documents online and in physical folders as may be required.
    • Sign for inbound shipments when / where necessary
    • Receive and Photocopy Waybills.
    • Witness Seal Cutting.
    • Truck arrival, loading and dispatch time tracking.
    • Conduct truck inspection before loading.
    • Confront all unsafe behavior.
    • Confront all quantity deviations and track accordingly.
    • Maximize space usage and safely put away items on the floor or racks
    • Ensure receiving and loading areas are top notch always.
    • Maintain housekeeping standard at the loading docks and storage areas.
    • Conduct daily warehouse tour.
    • Ensure correct number and type of product is picked
    • Stencil, tag or mark orders as required
    • Compare quantity, labelling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct
    • Accept signatures for outbound as necessary
    • Efficiently move product into outbound delivery vehicles
    • Enforce PPE compliance, safe stacking, aisle discipline, and equipment checks.
    • Report incidents/near-misses; maintain housekeeping, 5S standards, and audit readiness.
    • Ensure proper handling, storage conditions, and damage prevention controls.
    • Maintain accurate stock records in WMS/ERP/Excel tracker and ensure timely transaction posting.
    • Execute cycle counts and stock counts; investigate variances, damages, and losses with corrective actions.
    • Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable (expiry, batch/lot, serial tracking).
    • Update stock cards for goods in the warehouse.
    • Participate actively in any Inventory variation troubleshooting.
    • Other tasks as may be assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSc or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent in a highly analytical field from a reputable institution.
    • Must have completed the NYSC program.
    • 5-8 years work experience in warehousing, preferably a similar role.
    • Proven ability to use WMS/ERP.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PPT).
    • Exceptional computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
    • Supply chain/logistics certification might be an advantage
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

    Warehouse Officer

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive inbound goods, verify quantity/condition against waybills/PO/manifest, and record receipts (GRN).
    • Flag and document discrepancies (shortage, damage, wrong item) and escalate immediately.
    • Execute put-away into assigned locations; ensure correct labeling/tagging and location accuracy.

    Internal Audit and Control Officer

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implement and monitor warehouse SOP compliance across receiving, put-away, storage, picking, dispatch, returns, damages, and write-offs.
    • Maintain a daily/weekly/monthly controls checklist and ensure audit evidence is properly filed.
    • Lead cycle counts (ABC) and periodic full stock counts; reconcile physical stock vs WMS/ERP and investigate variances.
    • Review and control stock adjustments, quarantined/hold stock, damaged/expired inventory, and pallet/returnable packaging accountability.
    • Audit inbound/outbound documentation: GRN, tally sheets, pick lists, dispatch notes, gate passes,POD tracking.
    • Drive loss prevention through audits of access control, security processes, CCTV coverage, gate logs, and high-risk zones.
    • Deliver audit reports with root-cause analysis, quantified impact (₦), corrective actions, owners, and closure timelines.

    • Track site vendors/SLA performance and maintain a site assets register and periodic asset verification.
    • Support HSE/site compliance documentation (incident logs, visitor logs, safety checks).
    • Preparing expense reports, office budgets and variance analysis.
    • Assisting human resources department with payroll and personnel databases, and manage contract staff and casual labour time sheets for payroll processing.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance or Business, from a reputable institution.
    • Must have completed the NYSC program.
    • 3–6 years experience in Internal Audit/Controls, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations Finance, or Risk and Compliance
    • Systematic approach to work, good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize to adhere to tight deadlines
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work well within a team environment and build relationships
    • Strong Excel skills; WMS/ERP familiarity is a major advantage
    • Certifications (plus): ICAN/ACCA (part), CIA, CISA, ISO internal audit exposure
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
