Warehouse Operations Intern at DRYVA Logistics

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support offloading, counting, basic quality/condition checks, and documentation (waybills,delivery notes).
• Label cartons/pallets, assist with proper location/bin put-away, and report damages/shortages immediately.
• Pick items using pick lists (FIFO/FEFO where applicable) and stage for dispatch.
• Support packing, sealing, palletizing, stretch-wrapping, load verification and truck loading support.
• Assist with dispatch documents: load sheet, dispatch note, gate pass/register.
• Participate in cycle counts/stock checks and help reconcile variances.
• Update stock trackers (Excel/WMS) and maintain accurate inbound/outbound/damage/returns logs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S), keep aisles clear, and comply with PPE/safety rules.
• Flag hazards, unsafe stacking, and process gaps to the supervisor.
• Assist with daily activity reporting: inbound/outbound volumes, backlogs, and exceptions.
• Support continuous improvement tasks: labeling, layout, process checklists.
• Receive and Photocopy Waybills.
• Track damaged/expired/quarantined items and ensure proper segregation.
• Keep clean records (receiving notes, bin cards/location logs, dispatch notes, count sheets).
• Truck arrival, loading and dispatch time tracking.
• Conduct truck inspection before loading.
• Confront all unsafe behavior.
• Ensure correct number and type of product is picked
• Supervise the loading and offloading of goods into the warehouse by the warehouse loaders.
• Count all products, compare to waybill and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc or HND in Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields from a reputable institution.
• Must have completed the NYSC program.
• 0-2 years work experience in warehousing, preferably a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PPT).
• Exceptional computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Attention to details, and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
