Job Purpose

• The senior supply chain officer is responsible for the year-round generation of purchase orders, follow ups, logistics planning, payments and management of commitments from all the company’s raw material supply networks (farmers, traders and aggregators) within and outside the country.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Forecast and budget raw material volumes and specifications
• Generate purchase orders for suppliers and accurately collate invoices for payment processing
• Procurement of all raw materials for the factory
• Monitor stock reorder levels to optimize reorder cycle
• Track all orders, purchases and delivery logistics
• Oversee all purchase and service contracts
• Purchase goods ensuring the optimum price / quality ratio on the market
• Ensure the implementation of supply procedure complies with company procedures
• Monitor supplies to meet delivery deadlines
• Ensure that all purchases are done following the financial plan, cash forecast / budgets
• Check the purchase dossier before sending for validation to ensure they comply with company procurement procedures
• Anticipate the supply activities related to projects and convey to purchaser on time
• Participate in project procurement plan of the company
• Provide technical support on supply chain management
• Support in managing and coordinating the Field agents and farm management activities
• Monitor team performance to upskill team where necessary
• Monitor suppliers’ performance
• Manage interdepartmental and external communications
• Manage supply chain database / dashboards efficiently
• Update purchase / supply records and generate real-time reports on weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Job Purpose

• The Extension / Field Agent is responsible for organizing and monitoring all operational activities on the farm.

Duties / Responsibilities

• To organize and monitor all operational activities, including the allocation of inputs as needed.
• To closely monitor the growth and development of the fruits, ensure fruits are within maturity specifications of ReelFruit before they are harvested and dispatched.
• To work with the person in charge of fruit receipts at the factory to ensure that the appropriate fruits for any processing round are available.
• Maintaining positive relationships with supplying farmers to enhance ReelFruit's positive reputation.
• To supervise the dissemination of information, skills and techniques to farmers based on the ReelFruit protocol.
• To prepare weekly and monthly reports on activities progress.
• To demonstrate the right usage and application of agro-inputs on farms.
• To monitor and assist in collecting data from both demonstration farms and farmer’s farms in the area of operations.
• To distribute and account for all inputs delivered to all farmers in your operational area
• To improve the long-term performance of farmers' farms by increasing their capacity to adapt and apply better practices through exposure to new knowledge, information, skills, inputs, and procedures.
• To encourage farmers to adopt better practices through exposure to new knowledge, information, skills, inputs and processes to improve the long-term performance of their farms.
• To serve as “eyes and ears” of ReelFruit, raise red flags and troubleshoot in situations that will require such attention to preempt the occurrence and recurrence.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Skills:
As the Extension/Field Agent, you'll need to show:

• Strong communication, presentation and liaison and interpersonal skills.
• Tactfulness in task execution.
• Keen and in-depth interest in fruit farming especially for Mangoes.
• Knowledge of, and experience in the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) relating to crops of interest to ReelFruit.
• Ability to integrate and work within rural areas and farming communities.
• Ready to visit farmers within your operational area at least once each week.
• An open, flexible and innovative working style.
• Ability to communicate in English and the local language.
• Must be able to work under tight schedules and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to ride a motorbike.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate fulfilment of sales orders through observing appropriate confirmation procedures
• Maintain store facilities to ensure smooth functioning
• Inspect finished products for damages or discrepancies and reportto supervisor for reimbursements and record-keeping
• Receive deliveries of raw materials and ensure that all the supplies were in proper conditions and labelled before storing in designated shelves
• Ensure adequate record keeping from the team
• Manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
• Ensure all raw materials and finished products are stored in the right storage condition
• Monitor and control the fridge temperature to ensure proper storage conditions are maintained
• Ensure proper documentation of raw materials issued out for production and raw materials returned after production
• Participate in special and scheduled stock counts as delegated.
• Upholds and maintains levels of service that ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are met.
• Ensure the store is always clean and arranged
• Ensure accurate labelling of every item in store and appropriate shelving of all items
• Timely and accurate fulfilment of daily targets as delegated
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accordingly.
• Examine and inspect materials and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Remove defective raw materials or finished products to specified areas
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by avoiding floor litters by carrying out the task in an organized manner.
• Monitor correct product weights and ensure that they are maintained throughout the shift
• Sort, label, grade and inspect raw materials before packaging

Educational Qualification, Experience and Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Business Administration or any relevant field
• At least 1 year experience and adept in technology; have a decent knowledge of basic Microsoft office software and skills necessary to perform data entry
• Should be organized and be able to multitask and use initiative when needed.
• Should be attentive to detail, proactive and should be able to initiate or suggest best practices to support the sales team.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Should be teachable and be able to follow directives.
• Self-motivated, fast-paced, and a problem solver.
