    Senior Product Manager

    About the Role

    • The employee will own, build and iterate on SunFi’s platform - bringing our ideas to life across every use case, and user experience.
    • The employee is saddled with the responsibility of understanding the users’ needs, market needs, and business goals.
    • The employee will have the ability to think strategically, act pragmatically, and have the tenacity, energy, and passion to innovate and implement change within the time and resource constraints of a quickly growing startup environment.
    • The employee will report to the CTO and be required to effectively communicate with and engage colleagues, leadership, and junior colleagues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive the product vision and high-level technical concepts to bridge the gap between technology, the people, and the business processes it supports
    • Own and lead all aspects of the established agile team: writing user stories and acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, triage and prioritization, demos, end-to-end product execution, and cross-functional leadership.
    • Communicate product direction, progress, delivery, launch, and mitigation plans to all relevant team members and business partners.
    • Accountable for the SunFi Product KPIs Metrics.
    • Strive to deeply understand user needs by conducting user research and identifying opportunities and pain points. And advocate for user needs through the cycle of building products.
    • Define, document, and drive roadmaps, project plans, and precise product specifications that consistently deliver quality products for your customers.
    • Work with a team of engineers and designers to discover solutions to customer pain points, and build and launch products for local and global businesses. This would ensure the team can deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios
    • Ensure successful product launches by working cross-functionally with marketing, merchant success, sales, operations, legal, and compliance teams.
    • Communicate requirements to the design and engineering leads, and maintain communication between the product design and engineering units as it relates to the needs of the business
    • Regularly sit with Leadership and other stakeholders (User Services, Finance & Growth) to discover the customer's needs
    • Train or provide product reviews for User Services, Growth & Finance team members on new features Prioritize features and functionality to meet business goals and user needs.
    • Use data to drive product decisions, defining success metrics and measuring results against them
    • Provide product review and guidance of features and delivery timeframes
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior Product Management team members.
    • Provide technical support in hiring Product management employees.

    Requirements:

    • Consensus-builder; develops relationships across the company with ease.
    • Technical fluency; you don’t have to be an engineer, but you do need to speak the language.
    • Strong understanding of how to truly propose and build a lean MVP and scope out further milestones for a product or feature.
    • Detail-oriented and has a high bar for quality when it comes to writing stories, acceptance criteria, launch plans, and testing a feature before greenlighting its launch to users.
    • Strong project management with the ability to identify and communicate blockers, next steps, and progress.
    • Strong analytical skills and fluency with data, with the ability to use a variety of tools to gather and synthesize information (experience with Google Analytics).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with a tendency to over-document and over-communicate: we are fully remote, so this is very important!
    • Humble and willing to learn/grow. We need confident and capable individuals who want to help each other succeed as much as they want to help our talent succeed.
    • Good knowledge of Product Management tools like Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Asana, Monday, etc.

    Intern, Product Design

    About the Role

    • As an Intern Product Designer at SunFi, you will work closely with our design team to conceptualise, design, and prototype innovative products that align with our company's mission and vision.
    • You will be involved in various stages of the product design process, from brainstorming and user research to creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the team members to assist with the design and development of product features that align with user needs and business goals.
    • Help conduct user research and user testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist with the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Assist with the creation of design systems and maintain consistency in the design of all product features.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and methodologies to ensure our product design is innovative and effective.
    • Participate in design critiques and provide feedback on design concepts, making suggestions that are data-driven and user-focused

    Requirements

    • You’re able to seek expert advice from other designers like yourself within the organisation and have a desire to level up your design skills.
    • You leverage UI styles within an existing design system and have solid rationale behind UI choices.
    • You understand the purpose of a design system and when to use one.
    • You know when you're diverging from existing patterns within the design system and how that will affect other aspects of your product or organisation.
    • You have a preliminary understanding of design patterns for your product space (mobile, web, other) and how to use the patterns.
    • You have a desire to always want to understand the people who use your product, their goals, use cases, and tasks to achieve those goals.
    • You're developing your communication skills and ability to communicate your reasoning.
    • Your process isn't fully defined yet but you can develop an idea into a product with help.

    Performance Management Lead

    About the Role

    • The Performance Lead role sits within the People Operations unit of SunFi Technology Solutions. The primary purpose of the Performance Management Lead position is to develop, coordinate, and manage data-driven, quality assurance, and performance measures and programs to support ongoing operations at SunFi.
    • Beginning during the interview process, all the way through onboarding, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, promotions, and offboarding, the goal of the Performance Management Lead is to ensure the clear communication of expectations, the measure of success, and monitor individual & team performance as well as support in the other people operations related processes in line with its values, mission, and vision.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide required support for all assigned people-related initiatives: Recruitment, Retention, Diversity, and inclusion with a high level of execution
    • Ensure the effective planning and coordination of an inclusive performance management process with the collaboration of Managers, PO Managers & COO as a tool for employee, departmental, and organizational development as well as growth by enlightening performance & learning gaps, identifying role gaps, overworked employees and redundant roles
    • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality while managing all assigned HR-related tools, and developing policies, handbooks, and procedures which are in compliance with Nigeria labour law.
    • Develop and execute processes, policies, and projects to evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance.
    • Develop training programs to ensure employee objectives and performance metrics align with organizational goals
    • Develop training programs focused on ensuring effective and efficient goal-setting and seamless appraisal processes
    • Develop a Talent Management plan to develop, motivate, and retain top talents across the organization for the purpose of organizational development & talent sustainability.
    • Support in the planning and implementation of optimal procedures to ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of required talent(s).
    • Participate in employee engagement and relations in alignment with SunFi’s values and mission and escalate accordingly as the circumstances arise.
    • Serve as a trusted resource to all employees, guiding them through PO-related processes and career development with strong interpersonal conversations.
    • Support in managing all internal communication platforms and facilities to meet the needs of the team and ensure seamless collaboration.
