    Senior Frontend Developer (React)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Frontend Developer, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. You'll build the web experience where customers browse live odds, build bet slips, follow and copy other bettors, and move money — all updating in real time, all needing to feel instant on mid-range devices over inconsistent networks. Our web stack is React and Next.js against a BFF layer. This is a hands-on role for a frontend engineer who cares about performance as much as pixels, and who understands that in betting, a laggy odds update or a double-submitted bet slip is a real problem, not a polish issue. What You'll Do
    • Build and own core web experiences in React/Next.js: sportsbook browsing, bet slip, wallet, account, and social/copy-betting features
    • Implement real-time UI — live odds updates, in-play markets, and cash-out values — over WebSockets with graceful degradation
    • Engineer for performance on the devices and networks our customers actually use: bundle discipline, lazy loading, and aggressive optimisation of Core Web Vitals
    • Handle the hard frontend states well: optimistic updates, retries, idempotent submissions, offline/reconnect behaviour
    • Collaborate with design to ship polished, responsive interfaces, and with backend engineers on clean BFF contracts
    • Write well-tested code (unit, integration, and E2E) and participate in code reviews
    • Instrument the frontend with analytics and error monitoring, and use the data to drive improvements
    • Uphold accessibility and responsible gambling UI requirements across the product
    • Mentor mid-level frontend engineers and help set standards for the frontend codebase

    What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep, current expertise in React and TypeScript
    • Strong production experience with Next.js (SSR/ISR, routing, performance patterns)
    • Proven experience building real-time interfaces (WebSockets, SSE) and managing complex client state
    • A demonstrated performance mindset — you can talk concretely about how you've made a slow app fast
    • Solid testing habits with tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress
    • Good grasp of web security fundamentals for applications that handle money
    • Strong collaboration with designers and backend engineers
    • A portfolio, live product, or GitHub work you're proud to walk us through

    Nice to Have

    • Experience building betting, trading, gaming, or fintech interfaces
    • Experience shipping web products for African markets and low-bandwidth conditions
    • Familiarity with design systems and component library ownership
    • Exposure to A/B testing and growth experimentation tooling

Principal Backend Engineer (.NET / C#)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Backend Engineer, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. You'll be the most senior individual contributor on the backend, owning the architecture of a platform where real money moves through real-time systems: wallet and ledger, bet engine, live betting, settlement, copy-betting, and social infrastructure. You'll set the technical direction, make the decisions that are expensive to reverse, and remain hands-on in the code. This is a role for an engineer who has built and operated serious distributed systems at scale and wants their architectural judgement to shape a platform from its foundations.

    What You'll Do

    • Own the backend architecture across .NET 8+, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS/EKS
    • Design the systems that must never be wrong: double-entry wallet ledger, bet placement and settlement, cash-out, and payment flows
    • Set standards for event-driven design, idempotency, consistency, and failure handling across all services
    • Lead the hardest technical work personally — the highest-risk integrations, the trickiest concurrency problems, the performance bottlenecks
    • Run architecture and design reviews, and mentor senior engineers into stronger system designers
    • Define non-functional requirements — latency budgets, availability targets, capacity plans for peak fixtures — and drive the platform to meet them
    • Own observability, incident response practices, and post-mortem culture across backend services
    • Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and third-party providers (trading feeds, payments, fraud, KYC) with commercial as well as technical judgement
    • Work directly with the founders and Head of Engineering on the technical roadmap

    What We're Looking For

    • 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with several years operating at staff/principal level
    • Deep, current expertise in C# / .NET and the surrounding ecosystem
    • A proven track record architecting distributed, event-driven systems in production — ideally where money, trades, or bets flowed through them
    • Expert-level understanding of data consistency, transactions, idempotency, and exactly-once processing
    • Strong production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS; Kubernetes/EKS strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence: design docs, reviews, and mentorship rather than authority
    • Sound judgement on trade-offs — you know when to be rigorous and when to ship
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in sportsbook, gaming, trading, or payments platforms specifically
    • Experience integrating managed trading/odds providers
    • Prior experience as an early or founding engineer at a startup
    • Exposure to regulatory or audit requirements in a licensed industry

    Executive Assistant

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time role for an Executive Assistant supporting the CEO and COO, based in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. This is far more than diary management: you'll run the operational engine around both founders — calendars, correspondence, travel, meetings, vendors, office administration, events, procurement and a steady stream of projects that don't fit neatly anywhere else. In a startup moving at launch speed, you'll be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a high-trust role for someone exceptionally organised, resourceful, and unflappable — you'll see sensitive commercial information daily and be expected to handle it with total discretion.

    What You'll Do

    • Manage both executives' calendars: scheduling, prioritisation, conflict resolution, and protecting focus time across two demanding diaries
    • Coordinate meetings across Nigeria, UK, and European time zones with partners, regulators, advisors, and vendors
    • Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, and follow-up action trackers — and chase owners until items close
    • Manage travel end to end for both executives: flights, visas, accommodation, and itineraries
    • Draft, proofread, and manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO and COO
    • Run day-to-day office administration: supplies, facilities, equipment, and front-of-house coordination
    • Manage vendors, procurement and service providers — sourcing quotes, negotiating, tracking contracts and renewals, and chasing deliverables
    • Handle expense reporting, invoice tracking, petty cash, and document filing for the executive office
    • Coordinate board meetings, leadership offsites, team events, and company celebrations
    • Support recruitment logistics: interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding coordination alongside HR
    • Take on ad-hoc projects and errands as directed — research, vendor comparisons, document preparation, deliveries, and whatever the day demands
    • Act as a professional first point of contact for external stakeholders reaching either executive
    • Maintain strict confidentiality across all commercial, legal, and personnel matters

    What We're Looking For

    • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or office manager supporting senior executives — supporting more than one principal is a strong advantage
    • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a strategic, big-picture mindset and a track record of juggling competing priorities across multiple stakeholders without dropping anything
    • Excellent written and spoken English, both in person and online: clear, professional, and confident in representing someone else's voice
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with strong Excel skills (formulas, data handling, clean formatting) being essential, and comfort learning new tools quickly
    • Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on: you anticipate needs, spot problems early, work through ambiguity, and act without waiting to be asked
    • A fast learner with strong research skills and a multidisciplinary mind — comfortable picking up unfamiliar subjects quickly and operating independently with minimal oversight
    • Absolute discretion, trustworthiness, and professional maturity in handling confidential and personal matters
    • Calm, structured execution under pressure, shifting priorities, and two sets of demands
    • Availability for flexibility outside standard hours when critical matters demand it
    • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline

    Nice to Have

    • Experience supporting founders or C-suite in a startup or high-growth environment
    • A background or qualification in finance or legal disciplines
    • Office management or operations experience alongside EA duties
    • Exposure to a regulated industry (gaming, financial services) and formal stakeholder correspondence
    • Experience coordinating international travel and visa processes
    • Basic project management skills (Notion, Asana, Trello, or similar)
    • Event planning experience
    • Creativity, and interest in social media

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time role for an Executive Assistant supporting the CEO and COO, based in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. We're scaling fast ahead of launch, and this role owns the people function end to end — recruitment coordination, onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, policies, performance frameworks, and culture. You'll working directly with the founders as their eyes and ears within the staff. You will be building the HR function rather than inheriting one. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, discreet, commercially minded, and comfortable operating with limited supervision in a business moving at startup speed.

    What You'll Do

    • Own end-to-end recruitment operations: role scoping with hiring managers, posting, pipeline management, interview scheduling, offers, and reference checks
    • Run onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, equipment, access, and probation reviews
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, and prepare monthly payroll inputs for finance
    • Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies compliant with Nigerian labour law
    • Build and administer performance review cycles, KPI documentation, and promotion processes
    • Manage employee relations matters — grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution — fairly and confidentially
    • Administer leave, benefits, HMO enrolment, and statutory contributions
    • Support engagement and culture initiatives as the team grows
    • Manage relationships with recruiters, HMO providers, and other people-related vendors
    • Report headcount, attrition, and hiring metrics to leadership monthly

    What We're Looking For

    • 4+ years of HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years in a fast-growing company
    • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory compliance
    • Proven experience running recruitment at volume across both technical and non-technical roles
    • Experience drafting contracts, policies, and handbooks from scratch
    • High discretion and sound judgement — you'll handle sensitive information daily
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to run multiple open processes in parallel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Comfort with HRIS tools and spreadsheets (especially excel)
    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPM certification is an advantage

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or another regulated industry
    • Experience hiring software engineers and working alongside technical leaders
    • Experience setting up an HR function from zero

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining a robust ledger system with a keen focus on real-time reconciliation of cash and bank balances, owning day-to-day treasury operations, and supporting tax and statutory compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone who functions effectively under pressure with limited supervision, and who is intellectually curious, innovative, and constantly seeking improvements in work processes and procedures.

    • Manage day-to-day cash and treasury operations, including daily reconciliation of bank accounts and payment channels, resolving discrepancies at source
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage liquidity

    • Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
    • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian tax and other statutory regulations, and compliance
    • Advanced Excel and strong reconciliation skills, comfortable working with large transaction datasets

    Head of Engineering

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid leadership role based in Lagos — 3 days per week in the office — reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the entire engineering organisation — backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps — through launch and the scaling that follows. Our existing Head of Dev & Ops will report into you. The systems you'll be accountable for move real money in real time, under regulatory scrutiny, at peak loads driven by major football fixtures. This is a role for a proven engineering leader who still respects the details: someone who can build teams, set standards, hit dates, and hold a technical argument with their strongest engineers.

    What You'll Do

    • Own engineering delivery end to end: roadmap execution, release quality, and launch readiness
    • Lead, grow, and retain the engineering organisation — hiring, structure, performance, and career development
    • Set and enforce technical standards across architecture, code quality, testing, security, and observability
    • Own production: uptime targets, incident management, on-call structure, and post-mortem discipline
    • Partner with the CEO and product leadership to translate business goals into engineering plans with honest timelines
    • Oversee critical third-party integrations — trading/odds providers, payments, KYC, and fraud tooling
    • Balance delivery speed against reliability for a platform where a settlement bug is a customer trust crisis
    • Own the engineering budget: headcount, cloud spend, tooling, and contractor engagements
    • Ensure the platform meets regulatory and audit requirements for a licensed Nigerian operator
    • Prepare the organisation to scale from launch through rapid post-launch growth

    What We're Looking For

    • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years leading engineering teams or organisations
    • A track record of shipping and operating high-transaction-volume, real-time production systems
    • Strong technical depth — able to review architecture, challenge designs, and earn the respect of senior engineers; our stack is .NET, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS/EKS
    • Proven hiring ability: you've built teams, not just inherited them
    • Experience owning production operations: SLOs, incident response, and reliability engineering
    • Commercial judgement on build-vs-buy, vendor management, and engineering spend
    • Direct, clear communication with both executives and engineers
    • Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, payments, or another regulated, high-stakes domain is a strong advantageNice to Have
    • Experience taking a product from pre-launch to commercial launch
    • Prior experience in African markets, especially Nigeria
    • SRE or infrastructure background
    • Experience working with managed sportsbook/trading providers

    KYC/AML Specialist

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a KYC/AML Specialist, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. As a licensed operator, our ability to take bets depends on doing compliance properly: verifying customers are who they say they are and of legal age, monitoring for money laundering and fraud patterns, and meeting our regulatory obligations without making onboarding painful for legitimate customers. You'll own day-to-day KYC operations and AML monitoring, working closely with customer service, payments, and engineering. This is a role for someone rigorous and fair-minded, who can apply judgement to grey areas and document decisions that will stand up to regulatory scrutiny.

    What You'll Do

    • Review and process KYC verifications: identity documents, age verification, selfie/liveness checks, and address verification, including escalated and edge cases
    • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk customers, including source-of-funds and source-of-wealth reviews
    • Monitor transactions and betting patterns for AML red flags — structuring, rapid deposit-withdrawal cycles, third-party funding, and mule activity
    • Investigate alerts from our fraud and risk tooling, document findings, and action accounts appropriately
    • Screen customers against sanctions and PEP lists and manage resulting matches
    • Prepare and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other regulatory reports accurately and on time
    • Maintain complete, audit-ready records of all verification decisions and investigations
    • Handle verification-related customer escalations with clear, defensible communication
    • Contribute to KYC/AML policies, procedures, and risk assessments, and train customer-facing staff on red flags
    • Work with engineering to tune verification flows and monitoring rules — reducing friction for genuine customers while tightening the net on bad actors

    What We're Looking For

    • 3+ years of KYC/AML experience in betting/gaming, fintech, payments, or banking
    • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian AML/CFT requirements and reporting obligations (NFIU, relevant CBN and gaming regulations)
    • Hands-on experience with identity verification and screening tools, and with alert investigation workflows
    • Sound, consistent judgement on risk decisions, with the ability to document reasoning clearly
    • High attention to detail and comfort processing volume without sacrificing accuracy
    • Discretion and integrity — you'll handle sensitive personal and financial data daily
    • Clear written English for reports, case notes, and customer communication
    • A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Criminology, or a related fieldNice to Have
    • Direct experience in a licensed betting or gaming operator's compliance team
    • ACAMS, CFE, or equivalent compliance certification
    • Familiarity with device intelligence and fraud prevention tooling
    • Experience with responsible gambling monitoring and vulnerable customer indicators
    • Experience preparing for regulatory inspections or audits

    Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Mobile Developer, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. Mobile is where Nigerian betting happens, and our app is the product for most customers. You'll build and own the React Native app across Android and iOS — live odds, bet slip, wallet, social feed, and copy-betting — with Android on mid-range devices as the primary reality: limited memory, patchy data, and users who will uninstall anything heavy or slow. This is a hands-on role for a mobile engineer who has shipped and maintained production apps at scale and sweats app size, startup time, and crash rates.

    What You'll Do

    • Build and own core app experiences in React Native across Android and iOS: sportsbook, bet slip, wallet, account, and social/copy-betting features
    • Implement real-time features — live odds, in-play betting, cash-out, and push-driven updates — that stay correct through network drops and reconnects
    • Optimise relentlessly for mid-range Android: app size, cold start, memory, battery, and data usage
    • Handle money-critical flows with care: idempotent bet submission, deposit/withdrawal states, and secure session handling
    • Own release engineering: build pipelines, staged rollouts, OTA updates, and Play Store / App Store submissions
    • Monitor crash rates, ANRs, and performance metrics, and drive them down continuously
    • Integrate push notifications, deep linking, and in-app messaging
    • Write native modules (Kotlin/Swift) when React Native needs help
    • Collaborate with backend engineers on efficient BFF contracts designed for mobile constraints
    • Mentor mid-level mobile engineers and set standards for the mobile codebase

    What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of mobile engineering experience, with 3+ years in React Native shipping production apps
    • Apps live in the Play Store / App Store that you can point to and explain your role in
    • Strong TypeScript, plus working knowledge of the native layer (Kotlin and/or Swift)
    • Proven performance optimisation experience on low/mid-range Android devices
    • Experience with real-time data in mobile apps (WebSockets, push) and robust offline/reconnect handling
    • Solid grasp of mobile security for apps handling money: secure storage, certificate pinning, session management
    • Experience with mobile CI/CD, staged rollouts, and crash/performance monitoring (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar)
    • Strong testing habits and clean, maintainable codeNice to Have
    • Experience building betting, gaming, fintech, or wallet apps
    • Experience shipping apps for African markets and data-constrained users
    • Familiarity with OTA update tooling (CodePush/EAS Update)
    • Play Integrity / App Attest and anti-tampering experience

    Reconciliation Specialist

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Reconciliation Officer, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. In a betting business, money moves constantly — deposits in, withdrawals out, bets, winnings, bonuses, and fees — across multiple payment providers and bank accounts. Your job is to prove, daily, that every naira is accounted for: platform wallet balances versus payment gateway records versus bank statements. Discrepancies are found fast, investigated to root cause, and closed. This is a detail-obsessed role for someone with strong reconciliation experience in a high-volume transaction environment, who treats an unexplained variance as unacceptable rather than tolerable.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform daily three-way reconciliation across the platform wallet ledger, payment gateway reports, and bank statements
    • Reconcile deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, reversals, provider fees, and settlement batches across all payment providers
    • Investigate discrepancies to root cause — timing differences, failed webhooks, duplicate credits, provider errors — and drive them to resolution
    • Maintain a clear breaks log with ageing, ownership, and resolution status, and escalate material items immediately
    • Work with engineering to diagnose systemic reconciliation issues and improve automated matching
    • Reconcile bonus, promotion, and adjustment entries against approvals
    • Support month-end close with reconciled cash and wallet liability positions
    • Document reconciliation procedures and controls, and support internal and external audit requests
    • Monitor payment provider performance — success rates, settlement timeliness, fee accuracy — and flag anomalies
    • Produce daily and weekly reconciliation reporting for finance leadership

    What We're Looking For

    • 4+ years of reconciliation experience in a high-volume environment — fintech, payments, banking, or betting/gaming
    • Hands-on experience reconciling across payment gateways/PSPs and bank accounts in Nigeria
    • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort handling large transaction datasets
    • Working SQL knowledge, or a strong willingness to learn it quickly — you'll query transaction data directly
    • A methodical, sceptical mindset: you verify rather than assume, and you don't close a break you can't explain
    • Understanding of double-entry principles and how wallet/ledger systems work
    • Clear documentation habits and comfort working to daily deadlines
    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldNice to Have
    • Experience in a betting or gaming operator's finance or payments team
    • Familiarity with Nigerian PSPs and their settlement/reporting behaviours
    • Experience with automated reconciliation tools or building matching logic
    • Exposure to BI tools (Metabase, Power BI) for reporting
    • Part-qualified ICAN/ACCA

Senior Backend Engineer (.NET / C#)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Backend Engineer, based in Lagos — hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office. You'll build the core systems that move real money in real time: the wallet, bet engine, live betting, settlement, copy-betting infrastructure, and the social feed. Our stack is modern .NET on AWS, and the engineering bar is high — correctness and reliability aren't optional when a dropped message means a mis-settled bet. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who wants meaningful ownership of production systems at a company still small enough for individual work to be visible.

    What You'll Do

    • Design, build, and ship backend services in C# / .NET 8+ across wallet, betting, settlement, and social domains
    • Build event-driven systems on Kafka with exactly-once semantics where money is involved
    • Model and optimise data in PostgreSQL, with Redis for caching and real-time state
    • Integrate with third-party providers — odds and trading feeds, payment gateways, KYC, and fraud tooling
    • Write well-tested, observable, production-grade code, and own your services in production
    • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incident response
    • Optimise for real-world Nigerian conditions: unreliable networks, retries, and idempotency everywhere
    • Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers on clean, efficient API contracts
    • Mentor mid-level engineers and help raise the team's engineering bar

    What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep expertise in C# / .NET (ideally .NET 6+/8)
    • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, API design, event-driven architecture, and data modelling
    • Hands-on production experience with PostgreSQL and Redis; Kafka or an equivalent message broker
    • Solid cloud experience — AWS preferred; Kubernetes/EKS a strong plus
    • A track record of building systems where correctness matters: payments, ledgers, trading, or similar
    • Strong testing discipline and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
    • Clear communication and comfort working closely with product and other engineering teams
    • A pragmatic bias for shipping — clean code, but delivered

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other high-transaction-volume platforms
    • Familiarity with BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns for mobile and web clients
    • Exposure to observability tooling — Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent
    • Experience building for African markets, especially Nigeria
