Job Description

• The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The primary function of the Sales/Operations Manager is to support the Chief Executive Director in providing overall management of all operational activities to ensure the effective and efficient use of financial resources, logistics and human resources administrationwithin the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
• Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.
• Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.
• Work with the CEO and CFO in the capital raise process, participate in the company’s road shows.Meet, interact and present information effectively to potential investors and private equity firms.
• Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
• Manage budget to align with goals of business
• Implement systems and procedures to prevent stockouts
• Support the customer service department team to ensure processes and procedures are optimized.
• Implementing or optimizing systems and processes
• Identifying product feedback loops within the organization and working with stakeholders to close those loops with new routines
• Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, proceduresandguidelines.
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
• Generate regular reports and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Monitor competitor e-commerce sites and industry trends to stay ahead
• Identify opportunities to differentiate our business and improve our competitive edge
• Responsible for budget proposal development and ensure all operational teams are integrated in the process.
• Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO and other key executive team members
• Support the HR Manager in implementing an adequate HR strategy, improving induction, capacity building, and retention of staff.

Qualifications

• BSc in Business Management, or any related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven work experience in Sales, Operations Manager or similar role
• Experience in an e-commerce sector or start up is an added advantage
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Experienced in end-to-end process management
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with leading E-commerce platforms
• Good leadership and people management.

Job Description

• We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.

Job Brief

• We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer with experience in Roads and Bridge construction to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

Requirements and Skills

• B.Eng in Civil Engineering
• License of professional engineer - COREN
• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
