We are looking for a stellar, friendly, well-spoken Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As a SDR, you will assist Tenaui Africa Limited in expanding our client base. You’ll be the first line of communication between the company and prospects. As an SDR, you will share our message, build professional relationships, and generate new business for the company. You’ll also work closely with sales leaders to research and develop call strategies, messaging and territory development.
To be a successful SDR, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical skills.

Have a Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business related fields.
Have 3-4 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets.
Desire to work in a collaborative environment.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Ability to think strategically and tactically.
Highly organized with good time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Great active-listening skills.

Sales experience in the copier and printing industry is a plus(Can sales large format printers, printing press etc.).
Having successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
Ability to achieve a monthly sales quota for assigned product lines.
Establishing the client relationship and owning the sales cycle from inception to completion.
Working closely with customers to answer questions and concerns pertaining to the product in a professional and pleasant manner.
Providing value to clients by uncovering challenges and designing creative solutions to address them.
Closing sales transactions.
Entering orders into the company’s ordering system.
Ability to have a clear and meaningful dialogue with contacts at all levels of an organization, IT management and decision makers.
Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
3+ years Software Solutions Sales experience preferred; software/printing/equipment/electronics sales may be considered.
Knows IT offices to sell our products e.g. software firms, IT firms/IT Technology firms.
Professional, outgoing, persistent, and articulate; ability to handle client interactions in a courteous manner with tact and diplomacy.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience. Ability to identify and engage the decision makers.
Self-starter who works equally well independently and when collaborating with other.
Thrives in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines with effective time management and organizational skills.
Having successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.
