    Sales Advisor - Gas Tech Equipment

    Description

    • The Sales Advisor is accountable to grow Gas Tech Equipment orders in his/her competency area in Nigeria by maximizing profitability and increasing market share.
    • She/He will work closely with Customers and EPCs to strengthen relationship, ensure to execute the Company strategy. She/he has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building and deal closing.

    Responsibilities

    As the Sales Advisor you will be:

    • Growing Gas Tech Equipment orders with assigned customers
    • Hitting the annual Orders Plan securing profitable orders
    • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Representing the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
    • Maximizing the competitiveness of the Baker Hughes solutions offered to target the right level of market share according to company’s strategy
    • Fostering the commercialization of new products and new technologies under development in strict coordination with Strategy & Growth team
    • Contributing to forecast annual budget to meet regional sales objectives
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status,

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college preferably in Engineering.
    • Have a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sales for Oil & Gas Market.
    • Have knowledge of Oil & gas equipment as such as Rotating equipment
    • Have excellent communication skills
    • Have the Capability to engage, influence and drive multiple-external and internal stakeholders
    • Must be a self-starter & able to work on his own initiative
    • Have excellent presentation skills.
    • Be willing and have the ability to travel extensively
    • Have must completed NYSC.

    Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist – Oilfield Services & Equipment

    Description

    • Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. 
    • Select suppliers through qualification processes. 
    • Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. 
    • Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

    Responsibilities

    As a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for:

    • Managing both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development. Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage vendors.
    • Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
    • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
    • Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event,

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a Technical Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in Quality).
    • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
    • Have ability to manage day to day operations
    • Have oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
    • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
    • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills.
    • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
