    Recruitment Officer

    Job Summary: 

    • We are seeking a Recruitment Officer, who will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from talent sourcing and pipeline management to onboarding and integration of new hires. You will be responsible for ensuring the company attracts, evaluates, and hires top talent across all functions, particularly within the financial services industry.

    Description

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Align Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including leveraging job boards, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment events.
    • Design and oversee structured onboarding programs to ensure smooth assimilation of new hires into the organization.
    • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to proactively fill current and anticipated vacancies.
    • Position the company as an employer of choice through professional communication, timely feedback, and engaging recruitment campaigns.
    • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention rates, etc.) to evaluate and improve performance.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of a BSc in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably within Microfinance banks or Financial services.
    • A Master’s degree and/or HR professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience recruiting within South-East Nigeria, supported by a strong professional network and measurable results.

    Human Resources Manager

    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals and values.
    • Advise leadership on org design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
    • Oversee onboarding, evaluations, benefits, promotions, transfers, and exits with strong organizational oversight.
    • Implement effective performance review systems and development plans.
    • Support managers with coaching, feedback frameworks, and leadership development.
    • Develop competitive compensation and benefit strategies that align with market trends.
    • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws.
    • Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusiveness.
    • Drive initiatives that boost employee morale and internal communication.
    • Lead employee surveys and translate results into action plans.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 6 years experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
    • Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI are strongly preferred.
    • Experience in fintech or tech startups is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and labor regulations.
    • Experience with designing and implementing scalable HR systems and programs.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities.
