    Receptionist / Office Assistant

    Job Summary

    • You will be the first point of contact for the organization, offer administrative support across the organization, and coordinate front desk activities including office assistance.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
    • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
    • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
    • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
    • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
    • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
    • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist.
    • Demonstrable experience in negotiation.
    • Experiential marketing experience.

    Head of Business - Commercial

    Job Purpose

    • This role will provide strategic leadership, and direction and will be responsible for the growth of the business in volume and the portfolio.
    • Your responsibilities would include developing and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and new clients, and people management while producing insightful, data-driven reports for decision-making.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Establish and manage a solid sales support team to seamlessly manage sales from pricing to payments. The sales support team is an effective single point of contact for all issues from the time the sales team closes a sale and sends an email with an offer.
    • Build a Database of existing clients with all contact/vessel information – likewise for potential customers operating in our serviced geographies.
    • Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external.
    • Establish business priorities to meet the customers' requirements.
    • Manage the translation of the commercial strategy into business targets, budgets and tangible plans.
    • Proactively make recommendations which can improve processes and systems to help the business commercially.
    • Oversee all sales contracts with major clients to ensure Legal Consistency and liability coverage.
    • Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new customers.
    • Identify competitor activities – which would include clients and contract rates.
    • Ensure to be on top of sales planning for the month to plan for containers and all related filings to ensure no dispatches are missed for the month.
    • Proactively address customer complaints by taking up with relevant stakeholders for solutions and redressal.
    • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual business reports/plans, in conjunction with Unit Heads.
    • Support commercial market opportunities identified by the Sales team.
    • Developing a comprehensive company budget and performing periodic budget analyses.
    • Participate in the development of competitive analyses and pricing strategies.
    • Enforce operational standards
    • Assessing overall company performance.
    • The GMD may assign other related duties.

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in any Management / Social Science field
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a business manager commercial
    • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements
    • Attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster long-term relationships.
    • Confident, must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to multitask.
    • Commercial minded.
    • Experiential marketing experience
    • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
