    Receptionist

    Responsibilities

    • Guest services: Greet all guests warmly, handle check-in and check-out procedures, and provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
    • Reservations and bookings: Take reservations via phone, email, or in person. Confirm bookings and manage the reservation system.
    • Customer support: Respond to guest inquiries and requests, and resolve any complaints or issues that arise to ensure a positive experience.
    • Financial transactions: Process payments for rooms and other services, handle billing, and manage cash.
    • Administrative tasks: Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and perform general office duties like filing and data entry.

    Requirements

    • Education: A High School Diploma is typically the minimum requirement, but a Degree in hospitality is a plus.
    • Customer service: Excellent communication, patience, and a polite, professional demeanor are essential.
    • Organization: The ability to remain calm and organized while multitasking is crucial, especially during busy periods.
    • Technical skills: Proficiency with computer systems, including property management software, and multi-line phone systems is necessary.

    Maintenance Officer

    Duties / Responsibilities 

    • Inspections and safety: Conduct regular safety and hazard identification inspections.Check safety equipment like fire alarms, extinguishers, and smoke detectors.
    • Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schedules, reports, and equipment registers.
    • Contractor managementLiaise with and oversee external contractors to ensure work is completed to a satisfactory standard, on time, and within budget.
    • Reporting: Report maintenance issues, hazards, and the condition of facilities to management for action.
    • Prevention:Taking proactive steps to see maintenance issues that can be averted are taken care of.
    • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
    • Maintenance and repair: Perform general repairs, including carpentry, AC instalation, plumbing, painting, and plastering.Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, grounds, and facilities.

    Experience

    •  Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 - 5 years experience.

    Laundry Attendant

    Responsibilities

    • Processing laundry: Receive, sort, and wash soiled linens and garments. Load and unload washers and dryers.
    • Quality control: Inspect cleaned items for stains, damage, and cleanliness. Press/fold items neatly according to specific standards.
    • Stain treatment: Apply appropriate treatments to stains based on fabric type and stain. Soak and scrub items as needed, while following chemical handling procedures.
    • Machine operation and maintenance: Operate and monitor laundry machines, making adjustments as needed. Perform daily cleaning tasks like wiping down machines, emptying lint traps, and sweeping the floor.
    • Facility upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the laundry area.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 3-6 years experience.
    • Attention to detail: Crucial for sorting, quality checks, and proper handling of items.
    • Physical stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Organizational skills: Needed to manage a large volume of laundry efficiently.
    • Familiarity with equipment: Knowledge of how to operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironers isrequired.
    • Basic math skills: Needed for tasks like measuring detergents.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work well with other staff members and follow directions.
    • Knowledge of fabrics: Understanding different fabric types and their specific care instructions.
