    Responsibilites

    • Guest Reception and Check-in: They welcome guests warmly, confirm reservations, and handle the check-in process efficiently, ensuring guests feel comfortable from arrival.
    • Check-out Process: They manage guest departures, prepare bills, process payments, and ensure everything is settled correctly.
    • Reservation Management: They take bookings (in person, phone, or online), update the reservation system, and allocate rooms based on availability.
    • Customer Service: They respond to guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services, and handle complaints or special requests professionally.
    • Communication Hub: Receptionists act as a link between departments—housekeeping, maintenance, and management—ensuring guest needs are communicated and resolved quickly.
    • Phone and Email Handling: They answer calls, respond to emails, and direct messages to the appropriate departments.
    • Payment Handling: They process cash, card, or transfer payments and keep accurate records of transactions.

    Housekeeper

    Job Summary 

    • A hotel housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and comfort in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.

    Responsibilities 
    Room Cleaning
    They clean and tidy guest rooms by:

    • Making beds
    • Dusting furniture
    • Vacuuming or mopping floors
    • Cleaning bathrooms

    Replacing Supplies
    They restock items such as:

    • Towels
    • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.)
    • Tissue and water

    Laundry Duties:

    • They may collect, wash, and replace linens, bed sheets, and towels.

    Reporting Damages:

    • They check rooms for any damages or missing items and report them to management or maintenance.

    Maintaining Hygiene Standards:

    • They ensure all areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards, which is very important in the hospitality industry.

    Cleaning Public Areas
    They may also clean:

    • Hallways
    • Lobbies
    • Staircases
    • Restrooms

    Responding to Guest Requests:

    • They assist with extra requests like additional pillows, towels, or cleaning services.

    Time Management:

    • They must clean multiple rooms efficiently within a set time, especially during guest check-outs.
