    Quantity Surveyor

    Job Description

    • Carrying out feasibility studies
    • Preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
    • Performing risk analysis evaluations
    • Forecasting the cost of the different materials needed a the project
    • Measuringand valuingthe work done on site
    • Making valuations and ensuring quality control of jobs done
    • Arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
    • Providing advice and forecasts about costs
    • Attending project briefings where required
    • Interfacing with the client on technical aspects of the job
    • On-site monitoring /supervision of works/artisans and liaising with contractors to ensure timely delivery
    • Participating in the physical creation of designs
    • Following up to ensure deliverables are being created on schedule
    • Maintaining adequate lateral and vertical communication with all staff associated with the project
    • Taking ownership of projects from start to finish
    • Ensuring communication and escalating all issues of relevance while giving daily reports
    • Any other duties as may be given by management

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Analytical thinking skills.
    • Core Quantity Surveying measuring skills
    • Project Viability and Good interpersonal skills
    • Design skills knowledge of building and construction.
    • Relevant experience in similar job role is a must.

    Graphic Artist

    Job Description

    • Maintain brand consistency, design logos, social media graphics, newsletters, brochures, ads, flyers, signage, etc. and preparing files for pre-press, print production and for the web.
    • The employee is also responsible for redesign and updating internal and external publications; prepare and maintain a job log; define timelines
    • Study design briefs and determine requirements
    • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
    • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
    • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
    • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
    • Test graphics across various media
    • Amend designs after feedback
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

    Key Competency Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
    • Knowledge of graphic production methods, techniques and equipment.
    • Knowledge of and skill in the operation of multimedia software (Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Knowledge of printing procedures, photography and illustration.
    • Skill in creative layout and design in preparation for print production.
    • Skill in creative problem solving and attention to detail.
    • Skill in typography.
    • Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.

    Copywriter

    Objectives of this Role

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
    • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
    • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
    • Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials
    • Collaborate with a team of designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
    • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion
    • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related discipline
    • 2-3years professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
    • Exceptional writing and research skills
    • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
    • Must be computer literate

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Social media or content marketing experience a plus
    • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
    • Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
    • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
