    Quality Assurance Chemists (Agrochemical Manufacturing)

    Job Purpose

    • The role incumbent will be expected to ensure that the our values are being upheld, and to support his/her team in achievement of the team scorecard.
    • The purpose of the Quality Control Chemist role is to oversee compliance to the quality standards for all processes involved in manufacturing of goods. Ensure adherence to quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices.

    Job Responsibilities

    Quality Assurance

    • Monitor and control of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in process and finished products as per specification and provide testing evaluations based on specifications and standards to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
    • Verify suppliers’ qualification, inspection of incoming materials and ensure quality.
    • Monitor production process and verify quality results.
    • Knowledge on GLP, GDP, Data integrity and Documentation practices in laboratory work.
    • Maintain Standard operating procedures and manage corrective actions and quality assurance programs, QA records and generate reports.
    • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge on preparation and maintain working standards and maintain the reference standards as per the testing procedures and specifications.
    • Validate first level acceptance or rejection of packaging material and finished products after necessary quality review
    • Continuously demonstrate the improvement in existing systems/ procedures as per quality System Guidelines.
    • Maintain quality assurance programs, QA records and generate reports
    • Hands-on experience of handling HPLC, GC, and all other lab instruments.

    Communication

    • Informing the quality or Process deviation to QC in-charge to achieve the quality standards material from external suppliers
    • Manage and maintain the quality inspection for raw materials, packaging materials and ensure that the finished goods are as per the established quality standards

    Statutory Compliance & Control

    • Ensure that the safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the laboratory.
    • Maintain and improve the product quality by ensuring compliance through approved systems & procedures and surveillance audits.
    • Implement measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/ tool performance, product quality, efficiency and morale
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality control.
    • Ensure label claims compliance and maintain regulatory requirements.

    People – Recruitment, Retention & Capability Building

    • Participating and attending the training organize by supervisor for his development.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor in chemistry or M. Sc. In Chemistry, Relevant experience in Agrochemical will be additional advantage
    • Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in Quality Control/ Assurance, in Agrochemical manufacturing facility

    Mechanical Fitter (Agrochemical Manufacturing Industry)

    Job Purpose

    • The role incumbent will be expected to ensure that our values are being upheld, and to support his/her team in achievement of the team scorecard.
    • The purpose of Mechanical fitter is to direct and coordinate activities as per guidance of supervisor and engaged in repair, maintenance, installation of machines, tools, equipment, buildings, grounds, and utility systems of mill, industrial plant, or other establishment by performing role duties and assigning maintenance related tasks to the junior team members.

    Job Responsibilities

    Maintenance & Repair

    • Daily job planning & monitoring of each area activities
    • Adherence to 100% implementation PTW (Permit to work)
    • Meter data collection for preparing the Daily power report
    • Assisting the executive in documentation work
    • Ensuring the availability of consumable spares
    • Coordinating with the service provider vendor for ensuring the maintenance/trouble shooting of equipment.
    • Troubleshooting / Repairing during equipment breakdown
    • Up keeping & housekeeping of equipment
    • Coordinating with the service provider vendor for ensuring the maintenance/trouble shooting of equipment.
    • Inter coordinating with process dept.
    • Planning & achieving 100% adherence to PM plan
    • Carrying out the conditioning monitoring of equipment

    Operations and Safety

    • Data collection for preparing daily utility generation & consumption report.
    • Maintain history card for the machine and execute management of change for any change proposal
    • Ensuring the 100% implementation of HSE safe practices in all activities / operations and tool box talks where appropriate
    • Ensure team members comply with all safety and best manufacturing practices
    • Conduct meetings at the end of each shift to update incoming maintenance personnel on status of break downs, repairs, and troubleshooting done during the previous shift
    • Adherence to all Statutory Standards and Regulations.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Mechanical Diploma/Polytechnic from a reputed college
    • 5-7 years Relevant Experience and 2-4 years in a similar role in FMCG/ Agro Chemicals Industry

    Technical Operator Production ( Agrochemical Manufacturing)

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure that product production line is safely run effectively and efficiently to maximise quality, quantity and time in a profitable manner.

    Job Responsibilities

    Production facility (Product packaging and Formulation)

    • Carry out start up and shut down of production line as per procedure.
    • Setting up and preparing machinery for the line run to ensure smooth line take off at production start.
    • Ensure product quality checks to avoid deviation
    • Organize workflow for effective and efficient line operation by assigning responsibilities
    • Avoid product leakage and ensure wastages are eliminated from running of line
    • Ensure line downtime is captured accurately and retain documentation.
    • Always ensure PPE compliant as required
    • Ensure the safe use of equipment and communicate any malfunctioning to the supervisor.
    • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
    • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures (on the job training)
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
    • Perform CIP and implement product change procedures to preserve product integrity.
    • Perform other duties as directed by management.

    Operations and Safety

    • He will coordinate production line workflow to meet production target and quality standard. He will handle manpower distribution as per line balancing and optimize use of equipment as per line tunning for effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Set up all necessary precautionary measures to eliminate waste both in material and manpower utilisation.
    • He will ensure safety of personnel, asset and environment with personnel hygiene and 5s application.
    • He will maintain accurate records and reports of production line activities to identify and implement process improvement actions to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Assist the supervisor in the execution of daily activities.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of OND, Technical School, C&G I Certification in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or any relevant certification from a recognized institution.
    • 3-5 years working experience in Product Manufacturing industry Agrochemical manufacturing experience will be an added advantage
    • Time management behavioral competence
    • Possess the right attitude towards training and ready to apply acquired knowledge.
    • Multiskilling ability to be able to run all line machinery safely

    ETP / STP Operator Chemist

    Job Purpose

    • The role incumbent will be expected to ensure that our company values are being upheld, and to support his/her team in achievement of the team scorecard.
    • The purpose of the ETP / STP Operation chemist is to oversee compliance to the quality standards for all processes involved in manufacturing of goods. Ensure adherence to quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices.

    Job Responsibilities

    ETP / STP

    • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in ETP laboratory setting and wastewater treatment processes and regulatory requirements and parameters like COD, BOD etc.
    • To collect sample of effluent water and conduct routine tests and analysis on wastewater samples using standard laboratory techniques and equipment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records for all collected and tested samples.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for wastewater treatment and disposal.
    • To coordinate with Engineering for proper preventive maintenance and calibration of ETP instruments.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in wastewater analysis techniques and technologies.
    • Laboratory Safety procedures and Proficiency in operating and calibrating laboratory equipment.
    • Monitoring and upkeeping of all ETP /STP equipment’s.

    Communication

    • Preparing monthly waste report and communicating to waste management control board.
    • Informing the quality deviation to QC / Prod manager to achieve the quality standards.
    • Communicating with the authorize waste disposal vendor for ensuring disposal of solid waste / hazardous waste.

    Statutory Compliance & Control

    • Set and ensure waste control compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
    • Ensure that the safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in ETP/STP.
    • Maintain and improve the quality by ensuring compliance through approved systems & procedures and surveillance audits.

    • Review and monitor performance of subordinates on an ongoing basis and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs.
    • Develop, manage and supervise training and development needs of immediate employees to meet the departmental objectives.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree (in chemistry or Environmental sciences or related field)
    • 5 -7 years Relevant Experience in FMCG/ Agrochemical Manufacturing
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control/ Assurance, in Agrochemical manufacturing facility
