    Provost

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to serve as our Provost. The Provost will be the chief academic officer of the nursing school, responsible for overseeing all academic programs, faculty development, and strategic initiatives.
    • This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can drive innovation, foster academic excellence, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of academic programs that align with the nursing school's mission and goals.
    • Foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice among faculty and students.
    • Lead efforts to recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and talented faculty.
    • Collaborate with other academic and administrative leaders to ensure alignment of academic programs with institutional priorities.
    • Oversee accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships within the school and with external stakeholders.
    • Champion initiatives to enhance student engagement, success, and retention.
    • Represent the nursing school in external forums and cultivate relationships with healthcare organizations, professional associations, and community partners.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a Registered Nurse / Midwife with a minimum of Second Class Honours Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field from a recognized Institution.
    • Must possess a teaching qualification (PGDE / Diploma in Education or Nurse / Midwife Educator).
    • Must possess current license to practice from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
    • Must possess 15 years cognate Working / Teaching experience as a Nurse in a similar or other Tertiary Institution, two (2) of which must be at Managerial level.
    • Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Significant experience in academic leadership roles, preferably in a nursing school setting.
    • Demonstrated success in curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation.
    • Strong understanding of current trends and issues in nursing education, research, and practice.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and inspire others.
    • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of academic life.
    • Record of scholarly achievement and a commitment to advancing the field of nursing through research and innovation.
    • Proven ability to lead change and manage complex organizational dynamics.

    Cyber Security Engineer

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Engineer to oversee and manage our cybersecurity solutions and ensure the protection of Lily Hospitals' IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect Lily Hospitals' IT infrastructure.
    • Monitor network traffic for signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activity and take appropriate action to mitigate security risks.
    • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses in our systems.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into new systems and applications from the outset.
    • Investigate security incidents and breaches, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and implement best practices to protect Lily Hospitals' data and systems.
    • Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 2 - 3 years experience in incident detection & response.
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
    • Proven experience working in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
    • Experience with network security, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and respond effectively to security incidents.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
