    Project Accountant

    Job Description

    • Ensuring correct recording and follow-up of all transactions related to the major projects
    • Register and follow-up all Purchase Requisitions, Advance Payments, Mobilization Payments, Purchase Orders, Part-payments on certification, Completed Orders with Goods Received Note or Approved Certification, Invoices and payment of all contractors with the correct recording in the accounting records. This would require monitoring the project related purchase order from raising PR up to receiving at the site and utilization of the same.
    • Quick identification & investigation of any cost variances to ensure any potential under or over-budget expenditure is raised with the Project Leader
    • Compare/Analyze the actual project costs against the approved budget,
    • Make sure that Project codes are available on AX for each and every projects going on.
    • Prepare & maintain project-related records (Business Case, Capex Approval Form, Contracts etc.)
    • Monitor the project related purchase order from raising PR up to receiving at the site and utilization of the same.
    • Monitor and review to make sure that the each cost charged to the projects are complete, accurate & relevant on daily, weekly & monthly basis.
    • Check the Man days, Machine hours, Material consumption on CanePro records are appropriately charged to the project
    • Check the inventory items issued for projects are accounted under the relevant projects and match with CanePro
    • Have separate files for each project costs supporting documents (Compile information for internal and external auditors)
    • Provide up to date cost information to the project managers/management on request.
    • Close out project accounts upon project completion and capitalize on time
    • Ability to produce revised forecasts when there is changes to the original budget scope which requires revised forecasts and management approval
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by management

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualifications with 4 - 7 years relevant work experience.

    Store Overseer

    Job Description

    • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
    • Use AX & Cane pro software to monitor, demand and document characteristics of inventory
    • Analyse data to anticipate future needs.
    • The store overseer is responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.
    • Collaborate with store employees and other staff to ensure Sunti goals are met
    • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
    • Responsible for ensuring the company has the right amount of stock to meet the farm and factory needs and also to avoid overstocking items;
    • The Incumbent will be responsible for managing inventory documentation (Good documentation practice (GDP)
    • Does frequent material stock counts and updating the system stocks to match actual stocks.
    • Maintain the accuracy of Supply Chain Management system information as it relates to inventory control.
    • Work with Agric & Farm employees to achieve optimal stock levels throughout the organization assist with replenishment of same.
    • Develop key processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to ensure the supply of materials as required by maintaining the relevant data in AX & canepro.
    • Raising of purchase orders and processing for approvals.
    • Ensuring the right quality and quantity of items ordered for are received.
    • Manage emergency stock to be made available during stock-outs
    • Ensure that the procedures, storage and distribution of Sunti stock from the store follow the prescribed legal polices
    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the inventory and supply management of operational stock, including working with the Procurement Manager to facilitate seamless operations.
    • Coordinate with the Factory team to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues.
    • Collaborate with other heads of departments to achieve cost reduction targets.
    • He/she is responsible for preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged or spoilt and communicating the purchasing unit.
    • To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he/she ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the store.
    • To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent stacking of material and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
    • To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking.
    • Preparing the weekly and monthly reports of all the activities in the warehouse like the consignment received, the quantity of items received, point of collection and dispatch, stacking number, outstanding balance, etc.
    • Any other duty assigned by management.
