    Procurement Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all procurement transactions are within approved budgets and compliant with financial and procurement policies.
    • Track and report procurement spend, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
    • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
    • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
    • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
    • Draft and review procurement contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure timely renewal or renegotiation of contracts.
    • Maintain optimum inventory levels in collaboration with store and department leads.
    • Forecast procurement needs based on consumption trends and upcoming projects.
    • Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery and distribution of procured items.
    • Oversee and manage end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to payment.
    • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
    • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Prepare regular procurement reports for finance and executive management.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify procurement-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
    • Professional certifications in procurement and supply chain are an added advantage.
    • Hands-on experience with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
    • Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
    • Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders.

    Academic Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities
    Examinations & Compliance:

    • Coordinate all external and internal examinations (WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE, SAT, BECE, etc.), ensuring timely registration, documentation, and execution.
    • Liaise with examination bodies and regulatory agencies to ensure full compliance with current policies and procedures.
    • Track academic performance data and provide reports with insights to guide academic planning and improvement.

    Quality Assurance & Academic Support:

    • Audit teaching plans and resources to ensure they meet RESL’s academic standards.
    • Work with academic teams to strengthen teaching quality and curriculum delivery.
    • Support inclusion by monitoring interventions and working with counselors and SEN staff to meet diverse student needs.

    Digital Learning & Staff Development:

    • Oversee effective use of digital tools, especially Google Classroom, to enhance teaching and learning.
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of academic staff.
    • Coordinate relevant professional development programs and maintain records of staff certifications.

    Data & Administrative Support:

    • Maintain accurate academic records and generate reports for school leadership.
    • Support curriculum reviews, academic retreats, and represent the DOS/DDOS when required

    Qualification & Experience

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (M.Ed., M.Sc., or M.A. is an added advantage).
    • At least 5 years’ teaching experience, with 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Head of Department).
    • Sound knowledge of the National Policy on Education and the operation of the Lagos State Ministry of Education (OEQA).
    • Familiarity with external examination registration procedures (WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE, etc.).
    • Computer-literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational technology platforms.
