    Procurement Officer

    Job Summary

    • In this position, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. You will discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in its growth and people.

    Key Responsibilities
    Purchasing

    • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
    • Negotiate with vendors to compare offers, timelines, and pricing to secure advantageous terms for the company
    • ⁠Procure high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for the company
    • ⁠Develop a sourcing plan for both for local and international sources, so that fast and effectively sourcing operations are possible
    • ⁠Analyze the company’s requirements and evaluate every sourcing alternative before every purchase.
    • ⁠Evaluate letter of credit documents and collaborate with accounting department to ensure timely fulfilment of financial obligations.
    • ⁠Prepare all documents for purchasing and making a contract.

    Logistics

    • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
    • Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
    • ⁠Coordinate with international logistic personnel to ensure proper shipment delivery

    Vendor Management

    • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities
    • Monitor supplier/vendor performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
    • ⁠Examine and test existing vendor contracts
    • ⁠Research and discover new vendors, vet and add to vendors list

    Record Keeping

    • Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices, dates) of all purchases made into internal database
    • Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
    • ⁠Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
    • ⁠Prepare and send reports on purchases, including cost analysis

    Other

    • Regularly visit markets and purchasing platforms and review prices and adjust purchasing decisions as required
    • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
    • ⁠Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
    • ⁠Identify cost-saving opportunities within the organization
    • ⁠Keep abreast of local and international market conditions and advice management if safety procurement is required
    • ⁠Develop and update material costs for all supplies and materials used within the company
    • ⁠Coordinate with inventory to determine and manage inventory needs
    • ⁠Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
    • ⁠Work to improve purchasing systems and processes
    • ⁠Forecast production and supply needs, in coordination with the Production and Sales Managers
    • ⁠Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with industry trends
    • ⁠Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.

    Qualifications

    • BSc/HND in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field
    • Proven working experience as a Procurement Officer
    • Strong financial analysis skills
    • ⁠Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
    • ⁠Strong ability to conduct market research and ‘read’ the market
    • ⁠Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
    • ⁠Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
    • ⁠Ability to work with various levels of the supplier from the local and international market.

    Attitude

    • Must be a critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Must be shrewd and conservative
    • Must be willing to work long hours and be very responsive when situations require this.
    • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without errors.

    Paint Production Officer

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a skilled Paint Production Officer. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in producing both decorative and industrial paints, and possess the technical know-how to accurately match paint colors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the production of both decorative and industrial paints.
    • Formulate paint mixtures according to company standards and customer requirements.
    • Ensure accurate color matching and tinting based on specifications.
    • Operate and maintain paint mixing and production equipment.
    • Maintain quality control throughout the production process.
    • Monitor raw material usage and ensure optimal inventory levels.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in paint production (both decorative and industrial).
    • Strong ability to match and formulate paint colors.
    • Technical knowledge of raw materials and mixing processes.
    • Minimum of SSCE; technical certifications or relevant vocational training is an added advantage.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Must reside within or around Ayobo/Ipaja/Oluwaga axis for ease of commute.

    Key Responsibilities

    Human Resources

    • Implement and maintain HR policies to promote a structured and disciplined work environment.
    • Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company rules.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation.

    Accounting & Finance

    • Manage payroll and employee compensation.
    • Handle accounts receivable/payable and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Prepare financial reports for management review.

    Operations & Compliance

    • Maintain proper documentation and information management systems.
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure accountability and transparency.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience in HR and Accounting roles.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll management, bookkeeping, and HR systems.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting/HR software.
    • High level of integrity, and ability to enforce rules fairly.
    • Strict, firm, and detail-oriented personality.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
