    Portfolio Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive optimal performance of assigned client portfolios.
    • Support fixed income trading desk operations.
    • Conduct due diligence and valuation of investment proposals.
    • Advise Client Advisors on client profiling and asset allocation strategies.
    • Monitor client portfolio performance daily, recommending adjustments and providing quarterly reports.
    • Produce and present regular reports for executive decision-making.
    • Maintain capital market expertise to guide Client Advisors.
    • Collaborate with Research on market analysis and investment recommendations.
    • Construct investment portfolios based on asset allocation and sector insights.
    • Analyze markets and research to inform portfolio development.
    • Implement strategies for superior investment returns.
    • Present to high-net-worth and institutional clients.
    • Develop client-specific Investment Policy Statements.
    • Manage client relationships to align portfolios with policy updates.
    • Meet with high-net-worth clients to review policies, markets, and portfolio performance.
    • Coordinate with Client Service Officers on client objectives.
    • Evaluate holdings for alignment, potential, and diversification.
    • Analyze diverse asset classes to inform management recommendations.
    • Monitor financial markets daily for trading opportunities.
    • Provide advanced analysis to enhance portfolio results.
    • Utilize fundamental and basic analysis for investment insights.
    • Develop complex financial models for various asset valuations.
    • Perform data mining and database management for research and portfolio management.
    • Generate variance reports and rebalance portfolios.
    • Apply interpersonal and analytical skills in portfolio assignments and new product development.
    • Ensure client feedback is addressed and requests are fulfilled.
    • Prepare and distribute portfolio performance reports to clients/investors.

    Requirements

    • Good first degree in Finance or a related discipline (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics).
    • At least 4-8 years' experience in asset management, investment analysis, advisory, research, and/or product development within a financial services company.
    • A relevant postgraduate degree, MBA, or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, Portfolio Management) is desirable.
    • Good knowledge of the Financial Services industry – Equities, Fixed Income securities, Foreign Exchange market, Commodities market, property market – and an appreciation of its operations and peculiarities.
    • Excellent knowledge of local and international capital market regulations/laws.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
    • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Business and financial acumen.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Team player qualities.
    • Problem identification and resolution skills.
    • Good time management skills.

    Bancassurance Executive (Insurance Sales)

    • The Bancassurance Executives act as the Company’s representatives in identifying business opportunities (Sales of Life and General Insurance Products) within designated partner bank branches closest to their homes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with Branch employees and customers.
    • Solicit new clients, and grow prospective/existing clientele.
    • Handles activities that involve reporting, planning, and administration.
    • Conducts market analysis activities, which include branch/client profiling and surveys on competitor products.
    • Attends the District/Region’smonthly/quarterly meetings.

    Requirements
    Experience/Qualification:

    • First-degree or equivalent education
    • Minimum of 2 years post NYSC work experience with at least 1 year of experience in Insurance Sales.

    Finance Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review.
    • Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices.
    • Monitors budget performance, expenditure control.
    • Manages invoicing procedures to collect money owed by clients/customers.
    • Mediating tax refunds and ensuring transparency in the allocation for valid claims.
    • Following up on outstanding refunds, false claims, and unclaimed refunds.
    • Providing auditors with all records, documents, and files about VAT returns, VAT settlements, and transactional data.
    • Working closely with other departments in the business.
    • Preparing various monthly reports to analyse business financial health, including sales reports, profit and loss statements, general ledger entries, goods received notes, and goods issued notes.

    Requirements

    • Good First Degree in any relevant field.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ Cognate experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
    • Good business writing and communication skills.
    • Excellent team management skills.
    • Strong attention to details.
    • Willingness to learn on the job.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to details.
