    Senior Mobile Engineer (Android)

    Job Summary

    Head of Audit (TeamApt)

    About the role

    • The Head of Audit at TeamApt  Limited plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the bank's operations and internal controls.
    • This role requires a deep understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and auditing practices, alongside a commitment to promoting transparency and accountability within the organization.
    • The CAO will lead the internal audit function, providing independent assurance and insights to the executive team and the Board of Directors. 

    Key Responsibilities
    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Internal Audit Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy that aligns with

    • Lead the annual audit planning process, ensuring that audit activities focus on areas of

    • Regularly review and update the audit plan in response to emerging risks and changes in the business environment.

    Audit Execution and Reporting:

    • Ensure the preparation of accurate, timely, and insightful audit reports that highlight key findings, risks, and recommendations.
    • Present audit findings and recommendations to the executive team and the Board Audit

    Risk Assessment and Management:

    • Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and the risk management team to identify and assess key risks across the organization.
    • Provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of risk management processes and
    • internal controls.
    • Recommend enhancements to risk management practices to protect Moniepoint’s assets and reputation.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure that the company’s operations are in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate inspections and regulatory reviews.
    • Monitor changes in regulations and industry trends to ensure the bank’s compliance framework remains current and effective.

    Internal Controls and Governance:

    • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks.
    • Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and promote effective governance.
    • Promote a strong internal control culture throughout the organization.

    Strategic Advisory and Leadership:

    • Provide strategic advice to the executive team on emerging risks, control issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support strategic initiatives by assessing potential risks and advising on risk mitigation strategies.
    • Contribute to the development of business strategies and objectives from an audit and risk perspective.

    Team Management and Development:

    • Design, lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required).
    • Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, or CPA (required).
    • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is highly desirable.
    • MBA or Master’s in Finance or Risk is a plus.
    • 5–8+ years of experience in internal audit, risk, or compliance.
    • Minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role within audit or assurance.
    • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian financial ecosystem.
    • Experience in the financial services sector is essential, especially in digital payments, banking, or fintech.
    • Strong understanding of CBN regulations, AML/CFT frameworks, and internal control standards (e.g., COSO, SOX, ISO standards).

    Engineering Manager

    About the role

    • As an Engineering Manager, you will drive the successful delivery and execution of projects within your teams.
    • You will manage end-to-end technical planning, ensuring that product requirements are translated into actionable tasks, while orchestrating collaboration between various stakeholders including engineers, product managers, QA, and UX.

    To succeed in this role, you should have

    • BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    • At least 8 - 10 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
    • 5+ years of Java and Spring Boot experience.
    • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is a must.
    • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
    • Expertise in breaking down complex product requirements into structured EPICs, Stories, and Tasks.
    • Solid experience with backend technologies. Experience with frontend is a plus.
    • Knowledge of project planning tools for visualizing and tracking delivery timelines.
    • Familiarity with engineering metrics and monitoring tools to assess team performance and product health.
    • Capability to debug complex technical issues during incidents to identify solutions and run blameless RCA sessions.

    Fraud Analyst

    Job Overview

    • The Fraud Analyst will work under the guidance of the Lead, Fraud Solutions Management to analyze online fraud trends, and utilize fraud systems to detect suspicious transactions and prevent fraudulent transactions on customers’ accounts.
    • Fraud Analysts will work collaboratively with Fraud Prevention Officers, E-Channel Transaction Monitoring Officers, Internal Control and Compliance officers to ensure that fraud is prevented and incidents are effectively managed.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    The Fraud Analyst will:

    • Analyze customer activity, transaction patterns, online fraud trends and determine appropriate fraud rules to be implemented for detection of suspicious and fraudulent transactions
    • Review internal policies, regulatory requirements and implement strategies and tools that ensure prompt detection of suspicious behavior and activity.
    • Implement and fine-tune fraud rules on transaction monitoring systems and solutions to prevent fraud incidents.
    • Automate the review of social media channels to identify ponzi schemes and advanced fee fraud accounts.
    • Periodically monitor the effectiveness of fraud rules that have been implemented to reduce fraud incidents.
    • Advise fraud prevention team and other stakeholders on mitigants required to prevent onboarding of fraudulent third parties or customers
    • Collaborate with the transaction monitoring team to investigate, identify and ensure fraudulent accounts are blocked or restricted from carrying out transactions. 
    • Monitor customers’ accounts and transactions to determine those with high fraud risks.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (project management, accounting, computer science, IT, information security). Software development, security and accounting certifications e.g. OCP, Security+, CFE is an advantage.

    Experience: 

    • 3 - 4 years experience in deploying/managing fraud solutions, maintaining/updating fraud rules, and managing fraud-related projects in banking, finance, insurance or fintech industries.
    • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) or Python is an advantage.
