    Parents Liaison Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Parents Liaison Officer will serve as the primary communication bridge between parents and the school. She will ensure timely, professional, and transparent communication, addresses parents’ concerns, and fosters strong parent–school relationships to improve trust, satisfaction, and overall learning environment at Pershing Hills Elementary School.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Parent Communication & Support:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for parents’ inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
    • Ensure communication is clear, calm, respectful, and solution-focused.
    • Draft, review, and send official school communication (emails, newsletters, notices).
    • Ensure a maximum 24-hour response time to parent emails and messages.
    • Document and track parent interactions and resolutions.

    Admissions Support:

    • Manage inquiries from prospective parents and provide accurate school information.
    • Schedule school tours and follow-up until enrollment conversion.
    • Coordinate smooth onboarding of new parents and students.
    • Liaise with the IT department to ensure accurate documentation of admissions files for parents and children.
    • Ensure accurate records of prospects, admitted pupils and those resumed.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents.
    • Mediate disputes between parents and staff when needed, in collaboration with leadership.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.

    Engagement & Information Flow:

    • Organize parent meetings, town halls, and engagement activities.
    • Ensure parents are updated on school policies, events, and academic matters.
    • Collaborate with teachers and admin to ensure consistent messaging.
    • Collect parent feedback and report key insights to school leadership.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, from time to time.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • B. SC. in any field
    • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience as a Front Officer in a school or customer experience.
    • Excellent documentation protocols and writing skills will be an added advantage.
    • Microsoft Office Suite, google workspace, and Canva.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Reply to parents’ messages within 24 hours.
    • Send all school communications at least 48 hours before deadlines.
    • Update parent interaction log daily.
    • Convert 25% of inquiries to enrolments each term.
    • Coordination of successful parent engagement forum termly
    • Resolve 90% of complaints within 3–5 days.
    • Maintain 80%+ parent satisfaction in termly surveys.

    School Admission Process:

    • Maintain 100% accurate and up-to-date digital admission records at all times.
    • Submit updated admissions record to Management every Friday by 12 noon.
    • Ensure all admissions files are properly labeled and stored in the designated digital folders within 24 hours of receipt.
    • Prospect-to-Enrollment Tracking: Update and track all prospects → admitted → resumed records weekly with zero missing entries.

    Diction & Elocution Teacher (Elementary โ€“ Montessori School)

    • Pershing Hills is seeking a passionate and engaging Diction & Elocution Teacher to support the development of clear speech, confident communication, and expressive language skills in elementary Montessori students (ages 6–12).
    • The ideal candidate understands child-centered education and can nurture articulation, pronunciation, public speaking, and expressive reading in a supportive, respectful Montessori environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Teach diction, articulation, and pronunciation skills appropriate to elementary-aged children.

    Conduct engaging elocution classes focusing on:

    • Voice modulation
    • Expression and intonation
    • Public speaking fundamentals
    • Poetry recitation
    • Storytelling
    • Speech confidence

    Support students in preparing for:

    • School assemblies
    • Recitations
    • Presentations
    • Use Montessori-aligned, hands-on and experiential teaching strategies.
    • Encourage confidence, stage presence, and positive self-expression.
    • Provide constructive feedback in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate manner.
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate communication skills into the broader curriculum.
    • Track student progress and share periodic feedback with parents and administration.
    • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Performing Arts, Speech & Drama, or related field.
    • Certification or training in Speech & Drama, Theatre, or Elocution (preferred).
    • Experience teaching elementary-aged children (Montessori experience preferred).
    • Strong command of spoken English with excellent pronunciation and clarity.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage young learners in interactive lessons.
    • Patience, warmth, and strong classroom management skills.

    Preferred Skills

    • Background in theatre or performance.
    • Experience preparing students for speech competitions or stage performances.
    • Understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development principles.
    • Ability to differentiate instruction for varying confidence and language levels.
