    Operations Lead

    Job Description

    • The Operations Lead is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of Onyx.
    • The successful candidate will workto make sure that all company operations fall in line with the plan established by the CEO.
    • This will involve working with the teams then further breaking down tasks and projects to make sure that they’re accomplished on time and within budget and on schedule.

    Objectives of this Role

    • Collaborate in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
    • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Oversee the implementation of company strategies and deliver results on a day-to- day, quarter-to-quarter basis
    • Spearheads new initiatives and to counsel younger or newer company team members.
    • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
    • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-
    • term and long-term objectives
    • Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO on sales

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
    • 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions
    • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
    • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
    • A strong background in Investment
    • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
    • Confident presentation abilities.
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Good understanding of financial analysis and investment strategy.
    • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • A team player who can work independently.

    Business Analyst

    Job Description

    • The Business Analyst is responsible for undertaking financial research and reporting on prospective investment avenues.
    • The successful candidate will study how an investment is likely to perform and how sustainable it is.
    • You will also often participate in our clients’ business continuity management strategy development with a snapshot of the client’s financial health to provide the necessary data for our decision making process.
    • This is all done within the confines of OnyxIAL’s goals and vision.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Research companies, particularly in terms of their financial functioning
    • Analyse company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information
    • Interpreting complicated financial information
    • Write financial research summaries and make informed recommendations
    • Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
    • Collate detailed, up-to-date information about the Nigerian economy and financial markets.
    • Look back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision
    • Liaise with financial institutions and network with industry professionals
    • Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products
    • Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
    • Develop complex financial models and analyse legal documents.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Finance, Investment Banking, or Accounting with 3+ years relevant work experience.
    • Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
    • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
    • Excellent research and writing abilities.
    • A flair for statistics and data manipulation.
    • Confident presentation abilities.

    Project Manager

    Job Description

    • The project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the firm to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
    • This will also involve planning and designating project resources, budget preparation, progress tracking and stakeholder management. This is all done within the confines of OnyxIAL’s goals and vision.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Determine and define project scope and objectives
    • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
    • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
    • Track project costs in order to meet budget
    • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
    • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
    • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
    • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
    • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
    • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
    • 3 - 8 years of project management and related experience
    • Experience in the development and international development space with proven
    • ability proposal writing
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
    • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
