Responsibilities

• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to Control Valve, PSVs, Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Butterfly Valves, Safety Relief Valves, etc.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at Client facilities and locations.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control standards that apply to the job.
• Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.

General Requirements

• 3-5 years of industrial related experience.
• Experience with repairing various valves and actuators; pneumatic, hydraulic or electric.
• Health Safety and Environment Certification.
• Knowledge in ASME II, ASME VIII, ASME IX, ASME V, API 5L.
• Professional knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of corrosion control.
• Professional Knowledge in a Non-Destructive Examination.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance, testing and calibration of PSVs
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
• Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
• Resolve motor, valves, pump, conveyor, and hydraulic problems.
• Ensure high level technical support to lower level technicians.
• Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks and bobcats.
• Comply with the company and customer regulations and policies.

General Requirements

• HND/B. Eng in Mechanical engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a mechanical technician. 
• Analytical, Critical thinking and Problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside business hour.
