    Cook

    We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and creative Cook to prepare delicious, nutritious, and well-presented meals. The ideal candidate will cook a variety of local (Nigerian) and continental dishes, follow recipes and menu plans, and maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

    Key Responsibilities

    Meal Preparation & Cooking

    • Prepare and cook a variety of local dishes (e.g., jollof rice, tuwo, pounded yam, soup, stew, suya, etc.) and continental dishes (e.g., pasta, grilled chicken, fried rice, soups, stews)
    • Chop, measure, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu requirements
    • Plan menus with the employer/manager and ensure quality of meals
    • Cook meals at the right time for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
    • Ensure food is properly seasoned, cooked, and presented

    Kitchen Operations & Hygiene

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen at all times
    • Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
    • Follow food safety and hygiene standards for storage, preparation, and cooking
    • Properly store food in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas

    Inventory & Stock Management

    • Monitor and maintain an inventory of food supplies and equipment
    • Order supplies from vendors and manage stock levels
    • Minimize food wastage and control costs

    Other Duties

    • Assist with light kitchen cleanup after meals
    • Prepare special meals for guests, events, or dietary needs as requested
    • Report equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor
    • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum SSCE 
    • Proven experience as a Cook in a home, hotel, restaurant, or catering setting
    • Experience cooking Nigerian/local and continental dishes is essential

    Skills & Abilities

    • Strong practical cooking skills with knowledge of:
    • Local Nigerian cuisine
    • Continental/international dishes
    • Cooking methods (boiling, frying, grilling, baking, steaming)

    Ability to:

    • Follow recipes and adjust flavors as needed
    • Plan menus and manage meal schedules
    • Work efficiently under pressure and within time limits
    • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
    • Work well independently and as part of a team
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with employer/staff

    House-Keeper

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum SSCE
    • Previous experience as a housekeeper, maid, or domestic worker is highly desirable

    Strong knowledge of:

    Pool Attendant

    We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and physically fit Pool Attendant with basic lifeguard skills to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and smooth operation of our swimming pool area. The ideal candidate will provide excellent guest service while being able to respond to emergencies and perform basic lifeguarding duties when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Service & Pool Area Management

    • Welcome guests and ensure their safety and comfort around the pool
    • Set up and arrange pool furniture: umbrellas, loungers, towels, and other facilities
    • Provide guests with towels, refreshments, and assist with requests
    • Clear used towels, glasses, trash, and keep the pool deck tidy
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pool environment at all times

    Safety & Lifeguard Support

    • Enforce pool safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
    • Monitor guests and swimming activity in the pool and on the deck
    • Be capable of performing basic lifeguard rescues when necessary
    • Administer first aid and CPR when needed and call for emergency medical assistance
    • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including drowning risks and injuries
    • Report incidents, damages, and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately

    Pool Maintenance & Water Quality

    • Check and record chlorine and pH levels regularly
    • Monitor water quality and adjust chemicals as assigned
    • Remove debris from the pool and ensure clean water conditions
    • Inspect pool areas before and after each shift for maintenance or damage issues
    • Maintain and store pool equipment properly

    Administrative & Other Duties

    • Record activities and incidents and submit reports to management
    • Assist with pool close-down procedures: straightening furniture, cleaning restrooms, locking up
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager

    Requirements

    Education & Certification

    • Minimum SSCE
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification

    Experience

    • Experience as a Pool Attendant and/or Lifeguard is an advantage
    • Experience in hotels, resorts, or private pool facilities is preferred

    Skills & Abilities

    Excellent swimmer, capable of performing lifeguard rescues in a pool setting

    Strong knowledge of:

    Security Officer/Security Supervisor

    We are seeking an experienced and vigilant Security Officer/Supervisor to oversee security operations, lead a team of security officers, and ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on security experience with strong supervisory and leadership skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervisory & Leadership Duties

    • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the activities of security officers and service providers
    • Allocate duties, monitor performance, and implement corrective measures when standards are not met
    • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and deliver on-the-job training
    • Prepare rosters, manage shift schedules, overtime, and leave in line with HR procedures

    Security Operations

    • Oversee access control to prevent unauthorized entry into buildings and premises
    • Authorize movement of equipment, documents, and stores in/out of the facility
    • Patrol facilities (day and night) and visually monitor assigned areas for suspicious activities
    • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and distress calls
    • Investigate incidents such as theft, vandalism, assault; prepare detailed reports and cooperate with law enforcement
    • Maintain incident books/registers and ensure proper documentation and chain of evidence

    Administrative Tasks

    • Complete payroll forms, compute security operation costs, and manage supplies/equipment inventory
    • Participate in hiring and onboarding of security staff
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Manager

    Requirements

    Education & Certification

    • Minimum of SSCE 
    • At least 3 years of security experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role
    • Experience in corporate, industrial, or event security is highly desirable 

    Knowledge & Skills

    Strong knowledge of:

    • Access control procedures
    • Security policies and procedures
    • Self-defense measures and first aid
    • Security hazards and safety protocols for buildings and premises

    Ability to:

    • Lead and motivate a team
    • Analyze situations and solve problems effectively
    • Communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
    • Work under pressure and in shifting schedules (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
    • Ability to observe activities day and night
    • Physical capability to subdue and restrain violators if necessary
