    Nursery 2 Teacher (Infant School)

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery School Teacher to join our infant school team. 
    • The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from an A-list university, have EYFS training, and possess extensive experience in early childhood teaching.
    • Additionally, applicants must be TRCN-certified and have completed Jolly Phonics training from an accredited trainer.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
    • Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
    • Utilize Jolly Phonics and other literacy-building techniques to support early reading and language development.
    • Conduct individualized assessments to track each child’s progress and tailor learning experiences to meet their unique needs.
    • Implement play-based and interactive learning to foster creativity and a love for learning.
    • Encourage social interaction, independence, and problem-solving skills among students.
    • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents, maintaining open and professional communication.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop lesson plans and incorporate best teaching practices.
    • Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, behavior, and learning progress.
    • Ensure classroom discipline, safety, and hygiene standards are met at all times.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an A-list university (mandatory).
    • Certification in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) training.
    • TRCN registration (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria).
    • Jolly Phonics certification from an accredited trainer.
    • 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience teaching in a nursery or early childhood setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a deep passion for early childhood education.
    • Ability to design engaging lessons, incorporate best teaching practices, and adapt methods to suit individual child needs.

    Technician / Site Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician /Site Supervisor to join our team. 
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various technical, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance-related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the school's infrastructure.
    • This role requires expertise in electrical works, lighting systems, plumbing, cable installation, fan repairs, and pumping machine maintenance. 
    • Additionally, the candidate will be expected to supervise junior staff, manage daily site activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities
    Electrical & Technical Duties:

    • Monitor, maintain, and analyze electrical systems within the school premises.
    • Collaborate with the facility manager and engineers to optimize the placement of electrical wiring and installations.
    • Test electrical and mechanical devices to improve safety, performance, and quality control.
    • Update and modify older electrical systems to meet safety, energy efficiency, and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct repairs on broken equipment, wiring, and electrical components.
    • Perform and analyze system tests to track results and make necessary improvements.
    • Manage power plant maintenance and supervise generator operations and fuel usage.
    • Ensure proper calibration of electronic components and compliance with all electrical qualification tests.

    General Maintenance & Supervision:

    • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
    • Repair faulty equipment units, plumbing systems, heating, and cooling infrastructure.
    • Oversee and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize breakdowns.
    • Plan and schedule repairs while ensuring minimal disruption to school activities.
    • Supervise and coordinate junior maintenance staff, ensuring they adhere to safety and performance standards.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

    Facility Management & Reporting:

    • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on all site activities, technical issues, and maintenance work.
    • Work closely with vendors and external contractors for outsourced repairs and project supervision.
    • Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency in facility maintenance.
    • Ensure environmentally friendly modifications to school infrastructure where applicable.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree, OND, or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
    • 3–7 years of relevant experience in technical maintenance, site supervision, or facility management.
    • Technical certifications (electrical, plumbing, or HVAC) will be an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, construction materials, and industry standards.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
    • Experience in supervising junior technical staff and coordinating on-site projects.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Knowledge of fire safety systems, generators, and alternative power solutions is an advantage.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with vendors, school management, and staff.
