    Night Supervisor

    What will I be doing?

    As Night Supervisor, you will supervise night-hour assistance of Guests and Guest services to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. A Night Supervisor contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Occupy the hotel lobby and other public areas
    • Represent the Night Manager, when absent
    • Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required
    • Ensure that all Guest complaints managed, recorded and resolved promptly
    • Support the Night Auditor with all Front Desk and accounting related duties
    • Produce nightly reports, as required
    • Inform Departments of special requests, early/late departures, room changes and other Guest requests
    • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas
    • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
    • Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner

    Job Description

    • A Luggage Porter provides consistently-delivered exceptional customer service to Guests, especially as service affects laundry and the transferring and storing of luggage.

    What will I be doing?

    • As a Luggage Porter, you will provide consistently-delivered exceptional customer service to Guests, especially as service affects laundry and the transferring and storing of luggage. The Luggage Porter interacts with Guests and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
    • Ensure laundry support is provided when required, complete with all wash cycles, folding and storage
    • Offer consistent, high standard service and assistance to Guests and maintain a lobby presence that offers courteous and attentive service
    • Ensure that individual customers and Groups receive fast, efficient and friendly service
    • Ensure that either the Head Porter or Concierge Supervisor on duty are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the customers or other departments
    • Ensure messages and faxes are regularly delivered throughout the day
    • Assist with room moves and luggage deliveries and man the Front Door, following all standard operating procedures
    • Ensure the effective handling and storing of long-term and short-term luggage for arriving/departing Guests and clients
    • Maintain public areas and all equipment in immaculate condition
    • Communicate with Security regarding any unattended luggage
    • Greet all guests in public areas and rooms in a warm manner

    Job Description

    • A Concierge serves as a key point of contact for Guests and VIP Guests throughout their stay at the hotel, providing information about the hotel and the local vicinity.

    What will I be doing?

    • A Concierge, you will serve as a key point of contact for Guests and VIP Guests throughout their stay at the hotel, providing information about the hotel and the local vicinity. A Concierge is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
    • Serve as a key point of contact for Guests and efficiently respond to Guest enquiries
    • Provide information, advice and booking services for a wide variety of Guest enquiries, including city tours, theatre tickets, restaurants, doctors, flight bookings, among others
    • Process and deliver messages for Guests
    • Deliver and safely storage Guest luggage
    • Stay current with all hotel services as well as daily VIP requests and special events
    • Ensure orderliness and safety guidelines around the lobby and front door areas
    • Provide support to Management as required, in cases of emergency
    • Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service
    • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safety working area
    • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
