    Medical Laboratory Technician

    • Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, body fluids, etc.) following standard protocols.
    • Perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, and Serology under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
    • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring they are clean and properly calibrated.
    • Prepare reagents, stains, and culture media as required.
    • Assist in running quality control checks and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
    • Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous waste and adherence to infection control standards.
    • Support the laboratory team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
    • Deliver test results promptly to the appropriate clinicians.

    Requirements & Skills

    • Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
    • Good practical knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
    • Computer literate with basic knowledge of laboratory information systems.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical laboratory practice.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Science from a recognized institution.
    • Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
    • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program completed (where applicable).
    • Minimum of 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in a medical laboratory or hospital.

    Internal Audit Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute internal audits of financial, operational, and clinical processes.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
    • Review financial records, transactions, and reporting for accuracy and compliance.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit programs to address identified risks.
    • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, policies, and standards (NHIS, FMOH, Lagos State Health regulations, etc.).
    • Investigate irregularities, fraud, and non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
    • Collaborate with department heads and management to implement audit recommendations.
    • Monitor and track the implementation of corrective measures.
    • Provide support during external audits and statutory examinations.

    Requirements & Skills

    • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, and risk management.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
    • Proficiency in the use of audit software and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
    • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
    • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is a strong advantage.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
    • Valid practicing license/membership with a recognized professional body.
    • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate (completed).
