• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Industry

• This role is crucial to ensure the accurate and efficient handling of specimens from receipt through processing, maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.

What to expect:

• Perform a wide range of microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, and identification of pathogens.
• Analyze specimens such as blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Record and interpret results accurately; communicate findings to healthcare providers when necessary.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential education, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science (BMLS)
• Valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
• Minimum of 3-5years post-NYSC experience in a medical laboratory, with strong expertise in Microbiology.
• Conversant with good laboratory practice.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
