    Mechanical Maintenance Manager (Oil & Gas)

    Responsibilities

    • Carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
    • Performing periodic inspections on plant, machinery, and automated systems
    • Scheduling planned and preventive maintenance work.
    • Ensuring that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order and meet safety regulations by adopting strict adherence to the PTW system.
    • Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions by repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components to avoid exposing man and property to unsafe practices.
    • Checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored.
    • Documenting maintenance activities through preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
    • Travelling to client locations for equipment inspection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance for CNG Daughter Stations.
    • Strategize on maintenance, work instructions and methods.
    • Establish maintenance strategies to install and commission equipment.
    • Analyse breakdowns, diagnose faults, and supervise time-critical equipment repairs.
    • Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisors, foremen, fitters, and technicians.
    • Function as a project development member to maintain new equipment.
    • Oversee and control maintenance costs without compromising our documented processes towards the environment and safety of our activities.
    • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
    • Create and implement maintenance procedures with due regard for occupational health and safety requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve any issues.
    • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.

    Minimum Requirements
    Experience & Attributes:

    • Relevant higher education in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline
    • Minimum 10 years’ proven experience working on projects and maintenance in the oil & gas industry.
    • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, especially Gas Compressors, Gas engines, and other gas line processing equipment.

    Field Operator

    Job Summary

    • A Field Operator carries out daily and routine prestart-up inspections and operations of plant equipment.
    • He has the trained skill and competency to ensure that all the plant CNG equipment and mechanical systems are operated in safe and efficient process. 
    • He plays a key role in ensuring safety and SOP compliance around the plant areas.

    Responsibilities and Tasks

    • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
    • Operate NG compressors, dispensers, NGL dryers, and other equipment.
    • Starting and stopping of all compressors and auxiliary equipment, such as gas compressors, air compressors, etc. as dictated by the raising and failing of the line pressure as per instructions.
    • Maintain proper communication of Start-up, stoppage trip-outs, or deviations to the Shift-In Charge/operations supervisor/manager immediately.
    • Switch from automatic to manual controls and isolate equipment mechanically and electrically to allow for safe inspection and repair work.
    • Drainage of condensate from equipment on an hourly basis.
    • Provide reports to the supervisor daily.
    • Interpreted readings and acted on reading abnormalities.
    • Performs minor repairs on equipment, using hand tools.
    • Operates equipment to purify gases.
    • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required.
    • Operate and maintain equipment used in the production or processing of gas.
    • Monitor and control production processes and equipment to ensure they are operating properly.
    • Communicate with supervisors regarding equipment performance, production progress, and safety concerns.
    • Connect and disconnect skids.
    • Ensure that skids check if they are in good condition for loading, and fit for roadworthy before loading
    • Always follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Complete required documentation, such as production reports and maintenance logs.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should have an HND/B.ENG/B.Sc Degree and its equivalents.
    • 1 year and above Industry Experience in CNG operations / 2 - 4 years similar role Field Operator) in other Oil and Gas fields.
    • 0-1 year experience for Field operator (FO) trainee intake program.
