    Mechanic - Power Plant Niger Mills

     PURPOSE 

     To achieve plant maintenance goals and ensure reliability of Generators and public power supply facility in line   with OEM standards, reduce reactive maintenance and improve proactive maintenance.

    THE JOB

    • Carry out checks, maintenance, and repairs on other diesel operated engines such as forklift, payloader, Fire Hydrant pump.
    • Keep track of OEM maintenance requirement and ensure compliance
    • Actively involved in all HSE provisions and requirement on site.
    • Ensure constant power supply to the facility.
    • Efficient monitoring of all caterpillar engines.
    • Efficient monitoring of all power supply facilities – Public power supply line & equipment.
    • Carry out maintenance and repairs on caterpillar diesel engines and other power generation engines on site.
    • Utilize predictive maintenance tools for diagnosing and troubleshooting engine fault (CAT -Et, Oil analysis).
    • Ensure proper record keeping of all activities – event log, fault record, maintenance record, hourly readings.
    • Attend to all technical issues and maintain equipment in optimum working condition.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to pay attention to details.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read interprets data on HMI (Machines and Panels).

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
    • Technical qualification would be an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Two years cognate experience with proficiency in Diesel Engine Maintenance.

    Data Analyst- Production Niger Mills - Calabar

    To support the achievement of BU goals by collecting, processing and performing statistical analyses of data to provide insightful and data-driven decision-making.

    THE JOB

    • Analyze Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE) for Milling and Packing machines to optimize productivity.
    • Collect and analyze data related to daily, weekly, monthly and yearly milling processes for decision making.
    • Analyze key metrics to support daily, weekly and monthly production planning to maintain accurate dataset and integrity.
    • Track and maintain raw materials records in silos and bins to ensure availability of raw materials and ensure accurate inventory.
    • Develop and maintain production database for insight sharing using BI tools (like Microsoft Power BI) for BU and Regional Technical Performance Review (TPR).
    • Communicate findings, trends and insights from analyzed data to Chief Miller and Production Manager for critical decision making.
    • Prepare documentations and maintain dataset to track efficiency in wheat discharge operations.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Have strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and derive insights from large datasets.
    • Be capable of maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity across all reporting levels.
    • Be a proactive team player with good interpersonal skills and a solution-driven mindset.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • B.SC or HND in Computer Skills or other Numerical fields.
    • Certification in Data Analytics would be an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

    Roll Change and Preparation Clerk Nigerian Eagle Flour Mills – Ibadan

    To carry out cost-effective and efficient packaging, installation, and repairs of roller mills and associated machinery to ensure continuous operations.

    THE JOB

    • Prepare daily reports on roll activities and roller mill operations.
    • Inspect machinery regularly to identify and resolve potential faults before they cause downtime.
    • Eliminate air and material leakages to optimize mill performance.
    • Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
    • Perform fabrication of parts required for maintenance and repair tasks.
    • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of roller mills to achieve targeted extraction efficiency.
    • Execute all roll preparation tasks in a safe and hygienic manner.
    • Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
    • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Commitment to safety and hygiene practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sitting.
    • NABTEB/Trade Test 1-3 would be an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
