    Manager, Operations Support

    Job Summary

    • Manages team of supervisors in own business area, overseeing team development and training, managing budgets and assigning and prioritizing workflow.

    Responsibilities

    • Team Leadership: Manages team of supervisors within own business area, providing overall leadership to everyone on supervisors' teams; works with other managers to get things rolled out between teams (e.g., new system enhancements and system deployments)
    • Training: Oversees team development to ensure team is functional; trains supervisors or others in own area of expertise (e.g., training on systems, products and processes).
    • Process Development / Management: Leads cross-functional process design (e.g., end-to-end fulfillment and support processes), partnering with mid level technical professional team members within own and other teams and integrating information about Equinix as a business to improve processes/products being offered.
    • Operational Support: Oversees overall impact, analyzing both positive and negative business impact of processes and making recommendations to senior management around potential direction based on analysis (e.g., analysis of key performance indicators, internal incident reports, daily performance reporting)
    • Budgeting / Financial Management: Oversees overall budget entire team (and sub-teams within), maintaining, tracking and reporting results to senior leadership.
    • Project / Program Leadership: Provides overarching project direction, understanding interdependencies and prioritizing projects (from a tactical perspective) across teams.
    • Technical Skill Application: Assigns and directs supervisors to assist team members with technical work, as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor`s Degree with proven years of experience

    IP Project & Implementation Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Proactively Performs Network Fulfilment Activities. Highlights issues and drives resolution when required. Acts as mentor and technical coach for NSD Engineer 

    Responsibilities

    • The engineer is responsible for designing, integrating and implementing IP based services on the IPNGN network
    • Providing innovative network solutions and engaging OEMs when required
    • Driving the MainOne IPv6 strategy
    • Network design, planning, administration and maintenance
    • IP multicast setup and IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR router deployments
    • Ensuring knowledge transfer for level-1 IPNOC and relevant teams
    • Troubleshooting and resolving WAN/LAN connectivity issues
    • Managing bandwidth of the IP backbone for optimal performance
    • Performing routine checks and maintenance on all network elements
    • Routing protocol troubleshooting experience in a large scale network (BGP, IS-IS OSPF, EIGRP)
    • Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches
    • Monitoring of network elements and ensuring prompt repair and restoration of all faulty/down sites/links.
    • Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches and firewalls like Cisco ASA, Fortigate
    • Exploring existing knowledge base and make recommendation to improve systems, solutions and processes
    • PMP and Analytical skills

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent Experience
    • 3-5 years relevant experience is required.
    • Relevant professional/technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, (CCIE is an advantage)

    Skills/Competences:

    • Good presentation and analytical skills
    • Relationship Management skills
    • Time & self-management skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Good knowledge of networking technologies - TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, EVPN, VxLAN, SDWAN, SDN etc.
    • Hands on experience configuring Firewalls, Cisco and Juniper routers,
    • Service provider experience in technologies like MPLS L2VPN,L3VPN,ISIS,BGP, Segment Routing
    • Proven capacity in designing and implementing complex, high performance networks with multiple locations and applications, preferably service provider networks.
    • Scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
