As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of production and utility equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
You will support manufacturing operations by minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on production and utility equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they result in operational downtime
Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, compressors, generators, and other utility systems
Document maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment performance records accurately
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with cGMP, safety, and company procedures
Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency
Requirements
OND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Experience in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet maintenance deadlines
