    Maintenance Assistant

    Context & Environment

    • This position is based in Maiduguri.
    • TotalEnergies norms and values in safety and environment must be respected at all times. 
    • Teamwork and transparency must also be ensured.
    • Work standard must be done or ensured in accordance with the expected engineering regulation guiding the specific jobs.

    Activities

    • Makes frequent on the spot inspection visit, to evaluate if maintenance and engineering works are performed in accordance with the defined job scope & schedule, company safety, quality and environmental standard.
    • Ensures full commitment to TotalEnergies Golden Rules and the use of STOP Cards.
    • Ensures at all times that the quality of the works by the contractor is not compromised. Ensures that the bill of quantities prepared for the works are professionally followed in detail by the contractor.
    • Issues the general work permit on site. Ensures that the contractor and the station representative (dealer) comply fully with the instructions indicated on the general work permit.
    • Issues the associated permit on the special authorization of the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer -i.e. the (Hot work, cleaning and degassing, tank entry, fire permit, weekend work, etc. He / She must ensure that both the contractor and the station representative(dealer) comply fully with instructions indicated on these permits.
    • Performs on the spot assignment of the maintenance failures, evaluate the repair actions to propose work intervention through the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Engineer.
    • Evaluates and registers the maintenance fault request to inform the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer for action.
    • Requests and collects quotations from competent registered contractors within the sales area for action by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer.
    • Performs some minor on the spot repair if absolutely necessary considering the emergency need.
    • Assists in the distribution or/ installation of special network needs such as fire extinguishers, poster frames, shelves, etc.) as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer.
    • Carryout an impromptu pump price change as directed by the Maintenance Engineer.
    • Keep good inventory register (hard copy) of the company assets (pumps, generators, fire extinguishers, compressors, etc.). Synergizing with the MS/ME to maintain good database with minimaint.
    • Perform upon request occasional price change as specifically instructed by the Maintenance Engineer.
    • Ascertain continuously the pump flow rates, ensuring that the contractors maintain the required expected tolerance flow rates

    Candidate Profile

    • OND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years post graduate experience.
    • Possess a valid driver's license with experience in defensive driving
    • Proficiency in the use of Auto CAD, MS Office and maintenance softwares

    Customer Service Executive (Receipting) Kano

    Context & Environment

    • This position is based in Kano.
    • The role covers the Kano, Hadejia, Yola, Gusau, and Maiduguri zones, as well as GT customers, ad‑hoc transporters, and Cash‑and‑Carry customers.

    Activities

    • Raising Sales Orders (SO) and Dispatch Notes (DO) for white products, special products, and lubricants for the Kano and Hadejia zones, General Trade (GT) customers, and lubricant Vendor Management Sites (VMS), promptly and accurately.
    • Prepare blocked order requests and follow up on the unblock process. 
    • Invoicing all white products for the Kano and Hadejia zones, Distributors, VMS, and GT customers, and emailing the invoices for GT customers. 
    • Accurately filing all customer invoice copies with the corresponding Local Purchase Orders (LPO). 
    • Raising orders for cash customers after payment confirmation. 
    • Accurately and promptly capturing all fees for SFS Shop, Lubebay, Carwash, and solar for network stations and credit customers.
    • Accurately processing all transit losses and inter‑station transfers for white products and lubricants for Network, GT customers, and warehouses.
    • Printing invoices and debit notes for GT customers and transporters, respectively.
    • Treating station items and consumables under Hadejia and Kano zones. 
    • Liaising with all depots in zone to receive and file customer acknowledgement copies.
    • Providing the pricelist of the company’s products to requesting customers.
    • Bimonthly printing of customers statements and dissemination to sales team.
    • Monthly printing and matching of all customer statements and accurate filing.
    • Following up with the sales team to ensure all customer statements are duly signed, returned, and properly filed. 
    • Quarterly coordination of all returned statements and statement reports to the Head Office.
    • Preparing Goods in Transit (GIT) statement report and other monthly reports. 
    • Creating stock transfer orders for plant-to-plant transfers. 
    • Keeping accurate records of all customers’ transactions and details in the company’s operating software. 
    • Attending to customers’ enquiries, requests, queries, and complaints in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager (CSM), through networking with relevant resources persons in the region. 
    • Ensuring participation in all safety-related matters.
    • Commitment to TotalEnergies’ Golden Rules and the use of the STOP Card.

    Candidate Profile

    • BSc in Accounting or a related discipline. 
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. 
    • Proficiency in accounting software.

    Quantity Surveyor

    Context & Environment

    • The position is based at the Head Office to ensure effective coordination and timely project feedback.
    • Reports to the Conceptual Design Manager and provides support to Engineering, Installation Projects & Maintenance, Purchasing, and Network Development units.
    • Works closely with registered contractors and vendors from the Head Office to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Upholds TotalEnergies’ safety, environmental, and ethical standards at all times.

    Activities

    • Prepares tender contract documents and Bill of quantities (having knowledge of construction procedures, TotalEnergies HSEQ procedures, building Engineering and materials specifications).
    • Participates in recommendation of vendors for award through contractor nomination and technical evaluation of Tender bids, including evaluation of contractor’s HSE competence as an eligibility criterion for works.
    • Ensures proper analysis of all tenders and prepares cost estimates on each job to be done. For best results he/she carries out market survey of building, mechanical and electrical materials on regular basis.
    • Prepares cost estimates (as an input for yearly budget on projects) by regular data collation and proper documentation.
    • Ensures that Tenders / Quotations for award of contract are vetted to meet the company’s standards as regards cost.
    • Monitors contract status on ongoing projects for resolution of contractual claims.
    • Ensures the supervision of some project works by visiting the sites from time to time.
    • Visits project sites, taking measurements of on-going works and prepares interim valuation and final accounts on completion.
    • Arbitrates between the company and the client / contractor when disputes arise in the course of a project or after completion.
    • Builds up rates that form the basis of tendering and vetting of Quotation / Bill of Quantities having carried out adequate market survey of building and other necessary materials.

    Candidate Profile

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying
    • National Institute of Quantity Surveyor (NIQS) membership is an added advantage

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
