    Machine Sales Executive- Kano

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets for the Company’s range of Machines/Lift Truck products within Nigeria Territory.

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Obtain orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate equipment sales into high valued projects.
    • Ensure that full payments are received for all units sold while all necessary sales documents are adequately prepared.
    • Arrange visits to existing and prospective customers to ensure maximum coverage of the territory.
    • Aggressively promote the company’s products within the catchment area and win more prospects there from.
    • Provide product related technical assistance and advice to customers and prospects.
    • Obtain and communicate information relating to the market and competition as appropriate.
    • Maintain good corporate reputation and effective communication between our clients/customers and MNL Management.
    • Perform any other related duties as may be required by the Machine Sales Manager – North & West

    RELEVANT INFORMATION

    • B.Sc./B.Eng. / HND in Engineering.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ Sales experience. Experience in an Engineering / Construction and Material Handling Equipment company will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to drive with a valid drivers’ license.

    Parts Sales Representative (Perkins Parts)

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the sales of spare parts across all DELTA products (SEM, ALLIGHTSYKES, ALLMAND, MAK) and Prime product units. Also to ensure the achievement of agreed sales targets and performance objectives.

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Visiting customers prospecting for spare parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seeking regular patronage.
    • Plan weekly coverage program in conjunction with the manager to cover the customer’s list assigned and related pending deals.
    • Execution of DELTA growth strategic action plan.
    • Present DELTA products and After sales support, answering all technical and commercial enquiries and report all to the Manager.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Result-driven and motivated to meet sales targets
    • Proven sales experience, preferably in a similar industry
    • Obtains orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate sales into high value projects.
    • Prepare relevant quotations and/or tenders (accurate and complete to requirement), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities as desired, and ensure conversion to effective sales.
    • Ensure prompt delivery of spare parts (including back-ordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
    • Investigate the market situation of competitor products, prices, commercial terms and document report to the Manager.
    • Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
    • Establish and report competitive activities and sales opportunities (for spare parts, units). Implement actions that will ensure prompt and adequate conversion to Prime products sales & Spare parts.
    • Perform any other related duties as may be required.

    QUALIFICATION

    • HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Engineering or relevant academic qualification with a minimum of 2years relevant experience.
